Hibachi II amps are built with discrete transistors, no integrated circuits. Near zero feedback reveals recorded details. Directly wired without coupling caps for outstanding clarity. 1000 year vacuum tube voltage regulator makes a noise free power supply. A high current 8-pound hum free toroidal power transformer offers effortless current capability. Hibachi amps reveal ear pleasing tube amp 2nd order harmonic content other solid state amps by design can not play. 205 Watts with 4-Ohm speakers, 180W with 8-Ohm speakers. This powerhouse pair is made to deliver the best possible sound from speakers rated above 86db/1-Watt. More efficient speakers tend to sound better (another tube amp trait), horns to electrostatic panels are a perfect match. Tip: Low efficiency 4-Ohm cone speakers are not ideal with this tube like amplifier, they will play but lack luster compared to higher efficiency types. Beautiful deep 11 clear coat piano black enclosures with removable rubber isolation feet make installation easy. Place on the floor near speakers or in your audio rack, horozintally or vertically. They run warm to the touch most of he time, make sure the cooling fins have open air space to cool when cranked up. A versatile US hand finished tweaked to the max pair of cutting edge design class A/B amplifiers. Sound best driven by a harmonic capable tube preamplifier (like my US handmade PreDAC or TDAC).

    Continental 48 United States customers are welcome to use the secure click button shopping cart order system. I will ship to your US-48 state confirmed credit card billing address or PayPal account address. FedEx Ground so no PO boxes are possible. Expensive items require a phone number and direct signature to validate shipping insurance. An alternate shipping address is possible if you mail a Post Office purchased Money Order. Doorstep delivery loss is your responsibility without your direct signature.
    1-Year limited warranty covers manufacturing defects. Power surge or lightning damage is not covered, basically blown up power supply filter caps are the deciding factor, power line induced damage is not covered. A power conditioner with relay disconnect surge protection is strongly recommended for all your expensive audio equipment - one spike can kill the entire audio rack. External damage to items caused by any TAD product is not covered - blows a speakers, you will need contact your speaker manufacturer for repair/replacement parts.
    For amplifier warranty service include a check for $35 to cover warranty repair return shipping for each carton. Minor cosmetic flaws, a spec of dust in the paint, a very light clear coat scratch or hard to see tiny corner edge chip are not covered. Hand made with extreme care by the designer, some evidence of human contact will be present. All are packaged in soft foam protective padding inside crispy slick protective plastic bags, custom made Styrofoam inlay double boxes - keep the original boxes in case you need to ship the amps for service. Gently clean with a soft cotton cloth, do not press to avoid scratching the clear coat. Physical damage will be handled by FedEx shipping insurance and must be reported within 3-days from tracking delivery date to arrange a FedEx damage claim inspection. Please inspect contents immediately, after 3-days damage claims are not possible.
