ADHD INSIGHTS: HOW TO CONCENTRATE BETTER --- BY C. THOMAS WILD --- BUILDS A FOUNDATION FOR UNDERSTANDING THE ADHD (Attention Deficit) Syndrome --- Try it today for a better tomorrow

SECRETS To Paying Attention and Understanding Some of the More Subtle Aspects of the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Syndrome ************************************************************************************************************** About the Author: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/C_Thomas_Wild_ADHD_ADD_Autobiography ************************************************************************************************************** The ADHD syndrome is a neurological challenge often seen to be in the middle of a long spectrum with the Epilepsy syndrome (petit mal/absence) on one end and Tourette's syndrome (tics) on the other end. ADHD is the current term for what has been officially known previously as ADD, Hyperactivity, Hyperkinesis, MBdysfunction, MBdamage, and MBD. Some of those with ADHD also have a symptom known as CAPD (Central Auditory Processing Disorder), a subtle hearing/listening/understanding challenge which can affect everyday human communication. Conservative estimates of ADHD are 2% or less of the population. As a broad generalization, CNS alerting agent medicines tend to help some of those with ADHD (not all) by temporarily reducing distractibility and increasing attention span. A few persons (not all) with ADHD on the right medicine report temporarily improved hearing (Ritalin and Caffeine compounds have been reported to do this). Only about 2% of those on the right medicine report striking long term improvements (decade after decade); most do not. Almost all persons sooner or later can obtain an accurate diagnosis of ADHD. Some of those will gradually find the right answer, remedy or solution in dealing with their neurological challenges, however, for some with ADHD their needs go unmet which highlights the need for further research in this area so that "Cure ADHD Now" can become a reality more than an ideal. The reticular formation of the brain stem regulates the ability to pay attention and many of those with ADHD have subtle neurological symptoms involving part of the 12 pairs of cranial nerves. ADHD can be mild, moderate, or severe. There is a type of ADHD known as Inattentive Type Predominantly, where the symptom of inattention is the predominant symptom with little or no hyperactivity and impulsivity present. There is a correlation with a difficult delivery/subtle brain injury and the ADHD/Attention Deficit syndrome. ************************************************************************************************************** Did you know that most people, including too many teachers and parents, do not really know what ADHD is or isn't - they are just too busy with doing other things? Here's a unique opportunity to actually build a foundation for understanding the ADHD syndrome unavailable from anywhere else. ************************************************************************************************************** NEW!
