Although there are other national accessibility standands, including UFAS that may be acceptable, we feel strongly that while performing ADA Compliance work the ADA Access Guidelines (ADAAG) should be used.

We are Federally Trained, ADA Compliance Consultants. We do NOT hold certification through the International Conference of Building Officials or any other private organization. While these may be wonderful and respected organizations for zoning officers and other building inspectors, they have no ADA Implementaion or Enforcement Authority under the law. The certification as "Inspectors", "Specialists" or "Experts" that they offer, while well intentioned, may mistakenly suggest some degree of ADA Compliance Authority to those without a great deal of ADA knowledge.

It is important to remember that NO ENTITY other than the Courts and those Federal Agencies assigned to enforce the ADA can officially determine compliance. Our work is based on The Federally approved and sponsored training that we have received.

CONSUMER ALERT

No one is an "ADA Expert" or "ADA Certified".

Do not believe claims that "experts" can certify that your business is in ADA compliance. Many private organizations offer ADA Trainings and offer to certify participants as ADA consultants however only 150 people were selected to received ADA training through the, Federally Sponsored and Approved, ADA Training and Implementation Network.
