Field Teams
Field Teams are the backbone of Wagoner & Associates, Inc. They are made up of a minimum of a Senior Compliance Consultant and a Compliance Consultant. Field Teams perform physical access audits, policy reviews and provide other technical assistance. They gather data, perform interviews, take measurements and digital photos and recommend remedies for potential areas of non-compliance.
Administrative Teams
Adminstrative Teams are primarily responsible for overview and quality control of the Field Teams as well as acting as the firm's primary point of contact. The Admin Teams also providing trainings, workshops and lectures on the ADA and related issues. Administrative Teams compile the data gathered by the Field Teams and prepare the reports. Adminstrative Teams consist of either the President or Vice-President and a Senior Compliance Consultant.
Non-Compliance Response Team
A Special Team consisting of our President and at least one Senior Compliance Consultant specifically responds to complaints of non-compliance, either internal or formal federal complaints, made against our clients. Complaints of Non-Compliance are investigated, evidence of prior compliance efforts compiled and potential solutions identified. The Response Team works with our client, and the complainant or their counsel, as well as serving as liason between our client and any Federal Enforcement Agency. Our Federal training as Mediators in ADA matters is used to attempt to resolve matters quickly, discreetly and appropriately within the Law.
We are very proud of the reputation that we have earned over the years. We are one of a very few Compliance Firms in the country that uses mainly People with Disabilities as consultants. As such we feel that we offer our clients a major advantage by meeting their ADA obligation to involve people with disabilities in their compliance efforts. With Wagoner & Associates, Inc., you not only receive input from people with disabilities but those individuals are knowledgeable and experienced compliance consultants.
Wagoner & Associates, Inc. is a member of the National ADA Training and Implementation Network, a joint project of the US Department of Justice and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Many of our staff have a background in Law Enforcement and Investigation, providing them with extensive data collection and report preparation skills.
We use digital cameras and Personal Digital Assistants (PDA's) that download directly into our laptop computers each evening and the data is then incorporated into our survey software. We also use measuring equipment in the field that was specifically designed to simplify the collection of accurate ADA compliance information.
All of this technology allows us to speed up data collection and report preparation, without placing accuracy at risk.
