6. 1856 Yale Yearbook of Wyllys S. King (Kirkwood, MO); Embossed leather, AEG, spine detached at front cover, front signature detached, some foxing, some staining from leaves being pressed in book. Eighty-six signatures and birth dates with accompanying daguerreotype. Some portraits with hand painted insignia of famous secret Yale societies. Signatures include two Supreme Court Justices David J. Brewer and Henry B. Brown, plus President of New York Central & Hudson River RR, Chauncey DePew. Included with yearbook is photocopy of the Class of 1856 40th Reunion biographies.

Nine hand-colored engraved plates by William Grimaldi each with a moveable flap, no tissue guards present. Uncolored engraved frontispiece. Ornamental frames on worded pages. Leather with gilt frame on front and back cover, four thick, raised bands on spine.

25. Barclay, Edgar: Stonehenge and Its Earth-works With Plans and Illustrations; London: D. Nutt, 1895. Grained maroon cloth with black ruled borders on covers and spine lettered and ruled in gilt. Cover is dented in numerous places with nicks to top and bottom of spine and large gouge on spine and back cover. TEG. Plan IV and VI are fold-outs. Plan V is not. 152 pgs, Index and Bibliography. Title page is missing 1 1/2 inch at top. Inscription on title page reads "Belonged to Sir Edmund Antrobus(sp?), on his death bought by Mr.Chubb of Bemerton Lodge, Salisbury, for 6600(pounds)in 1915. Mr. Chubb presented it to the nation." Book plate on inside front cover for William & Marian. Between pages 6 & 7, view VI is missing. All other illustrations listed are present. Ink inscription on page 8 reads "Since this book was pub. another trilithon fell-in the closing times of the 19th Century. Dec. 1900. Queen Victoria dies Jan. 22, 1901." Pencil marks on pg. 9, 126, 127. There is a tear on illustration "The Ramparts" on page 84, that goes through pages 85, 86, 87, 88.
