TOP POSITIONS IN REFINERY AND PETROCHEMICAL COMPLEX IN INDIA - INTERNATIONAL LEVEL COMPENSATION PACKAGE AND LIVING CONDITIONS

We have request from our client for the following positions in India in a Refinery and Petrochemicals Complex (The Project is the single largest project site in the world under construction today, and will be one of the largest integrated grassroots refinery and petrochemicals complexes ever built in the world. Total investment is in the $4-5 billion range). Our firm will identify the management team which will oversee the project during pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and ultimately, daily operation of the complex.

All positions require specific backgrounds in the refining/petrochemicals Operations, Technical, Engineering, Fire & Safety, Marine and Logistics groups.

HEAD OF COKER PLANT : The ideal candidate should hold an Engineering, degree with 15 years experience. Responsible for start-up, stabilization and trouble free operations and optimization of one of the largest delayed coker units in the world. This position will lead the Operations Group, comprised of Production, Technical Services, Maintenance, Materials, Personnel & Administration, and Quality Control, during the project commissioning and operation stages, Experience in handling grassroots plant start-up, project execution, plant checkout, pre-commissioning and commissioning a must. Should have experience in the commissioning of a DCS of Foster Wheeler technology and be able to develop an integrated plan for pre-commissioning and start-up of the Coker complex.

CHIEF OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SERVICES : The ideal candidate should hold a Chemical/Mechanical Engineering degree and have 20 years experience in a large refinery/petrochemical complex. Responsibilities include establishing the Central Technical/Central Engineering Services Department; developing a managing system; process engineering and maintenance activities; trouble shooting and surveillance operations; product optimization and profit maximization; and, establishing state-of-the-art engineering systems. Must be conversant with codes and standards for preventive/predictive maintenance and shutdown management.

HEAD OF FCC/MEROX PLANT: The ideal candidate should hold a Chemical Engineering degree with 15-20 years experience in FCC/refinery operations. This position will be responsible for start-up stabilization and trouble free operation and optimization of one of the largest FCC’s in the would. Responsibilities include developing detailed plans for involvement of the Operations Group during the project execution stage, check list, flushing plans, pre-commissioning and commissioning of units/facilities. Should have commissioned a FCC of UOP or Shell technology and be experienced in pre-commissioning, start-up, shut down and handling of crises/emergencies.

CHIEF OF CENTRAL TECHNICAL SERVICES : The ideal candidate should hold a Chemical Engineering degree and have 20 years experience in the operation and maintenance of an complex integrated refinery/aromatic plant. Responsible for establishing the Technical Services Department to include process engineering; trouble shooting and operations; process monitoring and optimization, energy conservation; process design; process control and quality management.

HEAD OF HYDROTREATER/ HYDROGEN PLANT: The ideal candidate should hold a Chemical Engineering degree with 10-15 years experience. This position will be responsible for start-up stabilization and trouble free operation and optimization of the hydrotreating unit. The hydrotreating complex includes the hydrogen plant, Diesel and VGO hydrotreating and associated facilities. Should have commissioned a Diesel/VGO hydrotreater of UOP technology and a hydrogen plant with PSA units based on Linde technology. Must be experienced in pre-commissioning, start-up, shut down and handling of crises/emergencies.

CHIEF OF CENTRAL ENGINEERING SERVICES 258-17 The ideal candidate should hold a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree and have 20-25 years experience in the maintenance of an integrated and complex refinery/aromatic plant/petrochemical plant. Responsible for establishing the Central Engineering Services Department; engineering and maintenance activities. Will provide all functional direction with respect to plant maintenance including documentation, spare parts management etc.

HEAD OF AMINE/SULPHUR PLANT: The ideal candidate should hold a Chemical Engineering degree with 10-15 years experience. This position is responsible for start-up stabilization and trouble free operation and optimization of the sulfur plant. Should have commissioned Amine Treating Units, Sour Water Strippers and Sulfur Recovery Units of a similar size, preferably based on Pritchard technology.

CHIEF OF PETROCHEMICALS : The ideal candidate should hold a Various Refinery/Petrochemical Positions - Microsoft Internet Explorer Chemical Engineering degree and have 20-25+ years experience in handling multiple petrochemical plants. Responsible for start-up, commissioning, and operation of the petrochemicals complex. This position will lead the Operations Group, comprised of Production, Technical Services, Maintenance, Materials, Personnel & Administration, and Quality Control, Experience must include grassroots start-up and operation of an integrated Aromatics and Propylene complex

HEAD OF CCR/PLATFORMING PLANT 258-26 The ideal candidate should hold a Chemical Engineering degree with 15-20 years experience, with at least 10 Years heading a CCR/Platforming complex. Responsible for start-up stabilization and trouble free operation and optimization of a CCR/Platforming Unit of UOP technology.

CHIEF OF POWER AND UTILITIES : The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Engineering with an MBA desired Minimum of 20-25 years experience in efficient, reliable, cost effective operation of a large size refinery/petrochemical complex. Should have thorough knowledge of the operation and maintenance of gas based power plants and be fully conversant with codes/standards and state-of-the-art methods and systems for preventive and predictive maintenance, materials management and rotary machinery surveillance.

HEAD OF AROMATICS : The ideal candidate should hold a Chemical Engineering degree with 15-20 years experience, with at least 10 years heading a Aromatic Complex Responsible for start-up stabilization and trouble free operation and optimization of as CCR/ Platforming plant, Must have hands on experience in handling grassroots plant start-up, project execution, plant checkout, pre-commissioning and commissioning. Should have commissioned an Aromatic Complex comprised of Isomer and Trams Alkylation Units based on the latest UOP Technology.

CHIEF OF REFINERY TANKAGES AND LOGISTICS: The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Engineering or Technology with an MBA desired. Minimum of 15-20 years experience in Logistics, Crude Sourcing and Product Evacuation. Responsible for the development of long and short tern logistics plans for the complex. Must have in-depth knowledge of tanker handling pipeline co-ordination, tank farm operation, and LPH, cryogenic and liquid products handling

HEAD OF DESALINATIION: The ideal candidate should hold a Chemical Engineering degree with 15-20 years experience, with at least 10 years heading a MED type Desalination installations. Should have managed a MED type Desalination Plant of IDE technology with capacity of 2000 M3/Hr and module size of 400-500 M3/Hr.

CHIEF OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Engineering or Technology, MBA desired, with a minimum of 10-15 years experience. Responsible for the IT function at the refinery complex including the IT and Resource plan; performing technical and commercial evaluations and installation and certification. Must have knowledge of DCS; CAN; LAN; WAN and related technologies.
