EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT-WORKING MANAGER
- Director/Manager of an Adult Education Unit. Responsible for an over $400,000 annual operating budget including twenty professional and technical staff.
- Transformed an Adult Education Unit from high employee turnover and low quality education to a stable and high quality educational unit. Recognized by external agencies with more funding and technical support as a result. Management systems and staff development techniques have been studied and borrowed by other educational units in the organization.
- Member of executive team that devised the Strategic Plan to guide an en-trepreneurial company through a difficult cash flow-layoff period. As working Manager, made and implemented difficult decisions for reorganization and layoffs.
- Developed Quality Control methods for an information based company's Customer Service Department. Managed supervisors of various departments developing accountability methods and decision making authority at the lowest level possible.

Project manager for planning a children's diagnostic center using Program Evaluation And Review Technique (P.E.R.T.) Assisted the General Manager and unit manager in proper planning and opening of this center.

Led a task force in investigating six trucking companies for the Department of Defense. Used the company's information data base and investigation techniques to produce a 90 page report on each company and their interconnections. Reported directly to MTMC, Dept. of Defense, Falls Church, Virginia.

Directed the architectural design for the national headquarters of a major rehabilitation center. Project members were an Engineer and Architect of diverse cultural background in a middle eastern country.
BUSINESS SERVICES
- Analyzed credit information for membership shipping, brokerage, and trucking companies. Developed a system of identifying "irregularities" in credit information and providing guidelines for the company's improved decision making.
- Developed a Collection Strategy Program for Credit Managers and Controllers of transportation companies.
- Reorganized the Legal Services Department to provide more direct and efficient communication between the assigned attorney and client.

Coordinated and conducted professional conferences encompassing budget development and marketing to program design and implementation.
MANAGEMENT TRAINING AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT
- Conducted training for executive management on how to assist, reinforce, and support middle management and first line supervisors in successfully communicating and applying various company policies.
- Originated and taught first line supervisory training programs to persons new to management or otherwise not appreciative of supervision as a learned skill.
- Troubleshooter for Customer Complaints. Dissatisfied clients were transferred to me for handling. Originated methods for maintaining company policies and letting clients feel that they had been heard and their complaint was being taken seriously.
- Conducted on-the-job training to new and older staff. Developed employees potential for greater capability of satisfying the client's needs.
