SCHOONER TAIPI II

I bought Schooner Taipi II in 1980. My first encounter with her was in 1979,in the commercial harbour of Tangier in North Morocco. I was at the time the captain of the sailing yacht Rakkassa, a 76 feet Camper & Nicholson on her way to the Caribbean for a charter season. I fell in love with this charming little schooner which was to become mine a year and a half later.

Taipi II has been a successful charter boat in the Virgin Islands since 1980. Hundred of people shared a week of their life or just a few hours with us and many became our friends. My last daughter, now 10 y.o., was born aboard in St.Thomas. For 26 years of my life, sailing yachts have been my permanent homes. Two years ago we relocated on the Big Island of Hawaii with our three children raised on the sea.

I would be so pleased if a true sailing boat lover may decide to buy her and continue to cherish her. She is currently insured for $95,000 and for sale at $70,000.
