Vedic astrology is believed by many historians
to be the original system of astrology. It is first
written about in the Vedas, the ancient spiritual
texts of the Hindus dating back over 5,000 years.
This makes Vedic astrology the predecessor to
Western astrology by at least 3,000 years. It
utilizes the sidereal zodiac. The sidereal zodiac is
more astronomically correct, revealing the true,
observable positions and movements of the planets.
