The Denial of Liability:
This site is in no way endorsed by or affiliated with the company AOL or ICQ. This site not only discourages the use of AOL but has become pretty intolerant of the crappy service they offer to their paying customers. Head editor, McManus, has had some pretty unbelievable experiences with this poorly run excuse for an online service provider, that she has quit. (For more information on this, visit http://www.angelfire.com/biz/AOLICQ/cancel.html or the Censorship pages.) So, in short, please do not email me telling me how much AOL sucks. I already know this. I offered up the book on it pal...firsthand. If you're trying to find out how to quit the AOL service may I suggest Cancel AOL? Again, this page resides on THIS website and is strictly a courtesy to my website visitors.

What is a newbie? In internet language a newbie is anyone not familiar with the desired protocol or operations of a particular subset of the internet.
