My most recent vacation was camping in Natural Bridge, VA near Lexington. We camped for two nights in a KOA near by. Our main activities were hiking near the Natural Bridge and we toured the Natural Bridge Caverns which are the deepest on the East Coast. It was a small town but had lots of charm. One thing I wished we did was go to Virginia Safari Park. You ride in your car through many acres looking at safari animals that will come up as close as inches to your vehicle.

On our tour of the cave it was freezing. The cave stays around 54 degrees Fahrenheit all year long. Their were tours every 30 minutes and our tour lasted around 40 minutes so it was really easy to fit in our schedule. The picture to the right shows a stalagmite and stalactite

forming a column.
