It's impossible to take a bad picture early in the morning in the park. At first there's a cool, still mist that wraps the world in an etherial gauze. As the sun comes up we get long shadows and dramatic sunbeams through the trees. But as the sun warms the atmospehre, the mist is soon gone. I was lucky to photograph this rare moment in time, while enjoying a fun game of fetch with my dog.
