The tundra biome is one of the coldest and dryest biome. Other names for the tundra biome are: Ice desert, frozen prarie, and the cold plains. Places where the tundra biome is located are Northern Europe, Asia, North America but mostly Canada in North America, and Greenland.There is an average of 6-10 inches of rainfall yearly. The climate in this biome is VERY cold. In the winter the climate doesn't exceed over -30 degrees Farentheint. The climate in the summer 45 degrees Farenheit.
