NEXT GAME: March 21 vs. Pylons |
March 16th - The Triple S Train is rolling on better than ever after 2 wins in our last weekend of play. The Bonin line again played great and was the main source of points. A insanely good defensive effort helped secure our place as a top contender in our first season. I recently had a chance to visit Kelowna, B.C. and happened to catch a glimpse of the future of ball hockey. To be swept off my feet is an understatement. This team showed poise under pressure after letting the first goal, on the first shot, in the first minute, in the net. This team is of course, none other than the SouthSide Stranglers. After the game I was informed that this was only exhibition, yet the skill level shown by this team demonstrated their love for the sport. I witnessed 3 players who combined for all 5 goals and points, an impassable defence with a goalie who stood on his head. Lets face it folks their style is impetious, their defence is impregnable, they re ferocious! They want your heart, they ll eat your children. This has been Bob McKenzie for TSN The Hockey Insider.
