Our Emblem The emblem of the Fourth Degree is comprised of the beautiful Isabella Cross named for the Spanish Queen so closely identified with Christopher Columbus. Over the cross is superimposed a dove having four significant meanings.
The colors (red, white and blue) signify the Order's official colors of Admission, Formation and Knighthood as well as our national colors. Our Assembly Our Assembly was chartered on August 3, 1984. The fourth degree is the patriotic degree. We recognize that for any free state to continue, support of our constitution (federal and state) along with the rule of law is incumbent upon all citizens. No truer form of patriotism can be shown than to exercise our privilege of using the ballot box. As Fourth Degree knights we believe the defense of our state must be as strong as defense of our catholic faith. Our Officers Faithful Friar: Rev. John Hamilton Faithful Navigator: Donald Sutton Faithful Captain: William Cannon Faithful Comptroller: Charles Brown Faithful Scribe: John Foley Faithful Purser: Louis Lauzon Faithful Pilot: Chuck Bardier Faithful Admiral: Norman Groleau Faithful Trustee (3-year): Ray Michaud Faithful Trustee (2-year): Steve Shover Faithful Trustee (1-year): Joseph Lane Faithful Inner Sentinel: Richard Stevens Faithful Outer Sentinel: George Stevens Meetings Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month. During the winter months, meetings generally begin at 7PM. During the warmer months, meetings begin at 7:30PM. Check the Faithful Navigator's monthly newsletter for exact times. All meetings are held at our council chambers on Berard Drive. Our Flag The one symbol of our unity, our flag, has weathered many adversities abroad. The greatest dishonor has unfortunately come from within our own borders. Desecration of the the flag is abhorrent to all patriots and especially to all Knights. Click on Protect Our Flag for positive and constitutionally valid arguments for protecting "Old Glory". ![]() Since Sept. 11, 2001 many patriotic citizens have been displaying the flag at their residences and on their vehicles. With the passing of time, both the sun and the wind take their toll on these flags. Please, if your flag is starting to fade or become tattered from the wind, replace it. The old faded/battered flag should be destroyed by fire in a respectable manner. If you would like the Knights to perform this duty for you, please call or e-mail us using the link at the bottom of this page. You can also drop your old flag off at most VFW or American Legion Posts for proper disposal. Assembly News
