In these modern times, families tend to be scattered all over the country, if not the world. Our goal is to rediscover, rebuild, and preserve, the heritage of the Aranetas of Filipino genealogy that will serve as a memorabilia; and to educate our children, and later generations, of their family's history. I also hope to promote respect towards our ancestors and nurture mutual and beneficial family relationships. We need to preserve our past in order to safeguard our future. This genealogical records will serve as a comprehensive source of information of our family history that we and future generations can share, that will help to keep our families connected even though we live thousands of miles apart from each other.
Hopefully it will serve as an inspiration for other people to recognize the value of their family history and empower them to celebrate and preserve their memories before they are lost and completely forgotten by the generations to come.
This webpage is dedicated to the Aranetas who have distinguished themselves and brought honor to the family and to our beloved country. May we their descendants, keep faith and be proud of the legacy that they have left us when they played important roles in the history of our country. "May the legacy of our ancestors live on forever."
I shall continue to make revisions and corrections to our family tree and history, as I obtain credible information from reliable sources.

The result of this research was compiled solely by Roland Oscar Araneta.
Our family genealogy was made possible through the courtesy and cooperation of all the Araneta clan, especially the following: Eva Araneta de Serra, who assembled the original manuscript of the family tree in a scroll format. Saming A. Gonzaga for collaborating with her on the family lineage. Suzanne Araneta Ledesma for her effort in expanding and collating the family lineage. RJ Araneta for encoding. Cecile Araneta Cacho, and Mariella T. Araneta for their input. To all those whose names and lineage are not mentioned, I apologize profusely.
If you are a member of the "Araneta Clan" and would like to provide an updated information about the family, please feel free to e-mail me or leave a message in the guest book.
With your help, together, we will revive our history and heritage, build our past and reconnect our family genealogy and also get us reunited in the future.
My gratitude to all of you for your immense effort. Thank you!
