Welcome to the car shows picture page. On this page, you can view pictures from different car shows that are held around the area! There isn't much to report for 2005 due to hurricanes and high fuel costs. Note: Fuel costs are cutting into my budget so I am forced to be more selective as to where I go and where I show. Expect this page to remain but become more depleated in the future.
Nederland, Texas - April 22, 2006
The Southeast Texas Mustang Club held their annual show on April 22nd, 2006 in Nederland, Texas (just south of Beaumont). Roman received 1st place in this class (DPS trooper car class). Above is a picture of the car shortly after the show with trophy on the hood.
The Diboll Police Association held their first annual show in Diboll, Texas on March 29, 2008. Roman took 1st place in the restored police car class. Sorry...no photo available.
Beaumont, Texas - June 16, 2007
Above: On June 16th, 2007 the Best Years Senior Citizens Center hosted their 4th annual summer show at the Crockett Street Entertainment District in downtown Beaumont, Texas. Roman grabbed a 1st place win with the Texas DPS Mustang and was also interviewed by Jim King for a Beaumont TV show spot.
St. Louis, Missouri - June 3rd, 2006
On June 3rd, Roman participated in the SHOW-ME Mustang Club's 20th Annual Show in St. Louis, Missouri. Roman's 1993 Texas Highway Patrol Mustang was awarded FIRST PLACE in the 87-93 stock class. The show was held at Sunset Ford on the southwest side of St. Louis. Photo courtesy of Dr. Kyle Langley.
Tyler, Texas - February 17-18, 2007
On February 16-18, 2007 the East Texas Crises Center held its 18th annual benefit car and motorcycle show at the Harvey Convention Center in Tyler, Texas. There were approximately 90 vehicles in the show - all makes and models. First place went to Roman's Texas Highway Patrol Mustang in the police car class. The awards were plaques for runners-up and gold cups (pictured above right) for class champions. The East Texas Crises Center is an organization that benefits women and children of domestic abuse. Special thanks to my wife, Piper for sponsoring the fuel costs; Angie Brent, owner and operator of the Brent Bed & Breakfast in Flint, Texas for the free room and board; Tony Scharp for loaning specialized equipment for the display. I also thank my wife, Piper; daughter, Peyton; Brother-in-law, Oliver and my Sister-in-lah, Carla for coming to the show and supporting me during this most special event. The gold cup award that I received is dedicated to my dad. This is the first show I've done since his passing in October of 2006.

Lewisville, Texas (north of Dallas)
On May 12, 2007 the North Texas Mustang Club held their monthly cruise night at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant on I-35 at Fox Road in Lewisville, Texas. Roman got 2nd place/runner-up in the '80 & '90's Class. Below: Roman's '93 Texas DPS Mustang along side Rick Clark's 1985 Mustang GT Convertible at the NTMC Cracker Barrel show on May 12, 2007.

Austin, Texas - August 4, 2007
Above: On August 4, 2007, the Mustang Owners Club of Austin, Texas hosted their annual summer Mustang and Ford event at the Great Hills Baptist Church. Roman took 2nd place in the 79-93 Stock Coupe/Hatchback/Convertible Class.
