Patti is a country recording artist who has been inspired by all genre of music from Pop, Blues, Broadway and Classical. Her  parents who performed in light opera productions, introduced her to music as a small child.  She was professionally trained and began winning Kiwanis first place Provincial awards as a solo artist.  Next came a chance meeting with Garth Worthington, who was a career advisor to Joni Mitchell (Both Sides Now).  He convinced Patti to join the Centennial Singers performing a variety of classic and contemporary music. They performed all over Alberta, winning Provincial/State awards just as she had done as a solo artist.  Her love for Country music has always remained though for its sultry love ballads to its edgy dance tunes.  Some earlier influences include Susan Jacks, Sheena Easton, Madonna and later include Martina McBride, Leeann Womack and Lorrie Morgan. The opportunity to join A.M.I. Records has been like "finding a new family" and being able to record in Nashville "feels like coming home".  She continues to perform to small or larger venues, many of which support interests close to her heart; Education, The Heart and Stroke Foundation and Women's Health Issue's. With one single "Don 't Take My Heart Away" getting considerable radio airplay, she is planning a CD to follow.  Always ready to face new challenges and creative opportunity, head on recording seems so natural.  Stay tuned!
