"Randa, wake up." Nick lay in the bed next to her, gazing at her sleeping figure. "I know what'll wake ya up," he smiled, leaning down for a passionate kiss.

She woke slowly, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Hey Stallion," she smiled. She watched as he smiled back, his eyes sleepy again and his hair extremely tousled.

"That was one wild ride last night," he whispered. "As much as I hate to leave, I have a photo shoot in two hours. I gotta go shower. I'm afraid if I showered here I wouldn't make it to the shoot," he laughed lightly.

"I understand. You go; we'll all be here when you get back."

"Well, as long as you are here that's all I'm concerned with." He leaned down to kiss her once more. "I gotta get dressed." He sat up, pulling his boxers on. Miranda watched him from behind, soon moving with her urge to sit up and wrap her arms around his shoulders. "It's so hard to let me go, isn't it?" he smirked.

She giggled lightly. "Get used to it, Stallion. Not a lot of women are gonna let you love 'em and leave 'em."

Nick took note of her words but didn't say anything. It was four in the morning and his brain couldn't handle a serious talk. "We should be back around eleven. Wanna go to lunch, just you and me?"

She smiled sweetly. "I'd like that. Pick me up here at my room. I'll be waitin' for ya." She kissed the back of his neck and let him go to stand up and pull his pants on. "Did you know you're just as sexy dressed as you are naked?"

"Is that a compliment or a put down?"

"Any man that can pull off being just as sexy dressed as when he's naked is pretty damn fine in my book."

"That book of yours is what's important, isn't it?" he smiled, bending down to rub noses with her. "I'll be back in a couple hours. Wear something nice...as usual." He gave her a small peck and exited the room, making it out of their suite without waking anyone up. Miranda lay back in bed and tried to go back to sleep, grinning ear to ear about the night she had just experienced.

Six hours later she was dragging herself out of bed, knowing full well Nick would be back to pick her up in an hour. She walked into the kitchen, wanting to grab some orange juice before her quick shower.

"My, my, look who's awake after her long night," Neenah smirked.

"Hey guys, how's it goin'? Did ya have fun at the club with the guys?"

"Not as much fun as you had staying here with Nick."

Miranda slowly turned around, making sure she grabbed the juice from the mini fridge. "What time did you guys get back?"

"Just in time for the festivities," she giggled.

Her eyes widened. "What did you hear?"

"Oh, I didn't hear anything about anyone's Stallion if that's what you wanna know."

"Shit," Miranda whispered.

"Good 'ole Stallion there must've been exactly what the doctor ordered."

Miranda took her glass of juice and sat at the table with Neenah. "I didn't plan..."

"Hey, it's none of my business," Neenah sighed.

"He was so sweet to me." Miranda was practically glowing. "He held my hair while I threw up! How many guys do you know that would do that?"

"Hell, I wouldn't even do that."

"Exactly! He got me Sprite and held me in his arms after I got sick, just making sure I was okay."

"So, that was his repayment?"

"No! He went to leave but I asked him to stay. He laid there with me and I was thanking him, verbally, for watching after me. I told him I felt special having seen that side of him. He's so mature, Neen. It amazes me what kind of a man he's grown into."

"Man? He's sixteen!"

"That may be the amount of time he's spent on this earth but he's further in years with the mind."

"Hon, you know you can't get hung up. He may be mature be he is only sixteen. You remember what the guys in your school were like at sixteen? Sex machines! It wouldn't be fair for either of you to get involved."

"Too late," she sighed.

"No it's not. Randa, were the words 'I love you' ever exchanged last night?" Miranda sat there, quiet. "Look, it's something that happened in the heat of the moment. Just don't go setting your heart for anything too big. He's not someone you could rely on to be there."

"Well, he's picking me up in less than an hour for lunch, so we'll see what happens. At this point in time nothing's even been discussed so this entire talk has probably been useless."

Neenah watched as Miranda sat up quickly and made her way into the bedroom. "Keep tellin' yourself that, hon. Just don't fall," she whispered.

"Nicky's got a hot date; he doesn't wanna be late because he got screwed great..."

"Shut up," Nick laughed as he interrupted AJ.

"Where ya takin' her?" questioned Brian.

"Why? I ain't tellin' you guys where if you're plannin' on interrupting us." Nick was searching his suitcase for his black polo shirt while a million thoughts ran through his mind.

"Was she good in bed?" AJ blurted out.

"AJ!" Brian scolded.

"What? We've known the girl for three years. I'm just curious how she is between the sheets. It's just too bad Nicky here was the one that got to experience it and not me." Nick shot him a warning glance. "Woo, sorry!"

"What are you guys?" asked Brian.

Nick stopped dead in his tracks. "She's Randa, I'm Nick. Nothin's changed. I mean, she didn't say anything last night. Look, it's not like I could carry on a relationship even if I wanted to."

"That equals he's not ready," AJ aimed to Brian.

"Fuck you, Bone! That's not what I said!"

"Nick, there's nothing to be ashamed of if you aren't ready. You're sixteen, not in your twenties. It's not like you're at an age where someone's gonna expect you to settle down."

"See!" Nick said accusingly to AJ.

"Although, Randa seems like the type to want commitment, especially considering her background with her divorced parents and all."

Nick cast a worried glance towards Brian. "You think she expects more?"

"Now, I didn't say that. I said she seems like the type that would want more than a one night stand. That doesn't mean I'm right."

"Did either of you say 'I love you'?" AJ asked seriously.

"Well, no. I had a feeling she was gonna, right after it happened, but I kissed her before she had the chance to talk."

"Good, at least one of you can't throw that up in the other's face about how there was an out pouring of emotion."

"AJ, I ain't breakin' up with her. Hell, we're not even dating! I'm just trying to figure out how the hell to act around her!"

"Nick, did she seem comfortable last night? Was she comfortable with things this morning after you left?"

Nick sat on the bed for a moment. "Actually, yeah, yeah she was." Nick looked at Brian then at AJ. "Don't laugh, but when I was gettin' ready to leave this morning she wrapped her arms around me. I made the comment about how hard it is to let me go. She said something to the effect of how I'd better get used to it because not many women will let me love 'em and leave 'em. Does that mean she doesn't plan on either of us bein' tied down to one another?"

AJ was about to speak but Brian interrupted. "I think you should talk to her about it. I mean, you guys were comfortable enough to have sex. You should be comfortable enough to discuss it."

"Most women like talkin' about it," AJ interjected.

Nick's mind was whirling by this point, unsure of anything he was supposed to do. "Look, I'm just gonna go pick her up and take it from there. This whole conversation probably took place for nothin'." Nick grabbed his wallet and headed out of the room.

"Keep tellin' yourself that buddy. It'll get ya in trouble one day," Brian sighed.
