The eleven young people walked through the streets going unnoticed since it was so late.
"One good thing about the night," whispered Chris, "no screamin' fans."
Nick tried to smile, looking as though he were one of them. He knew, deep in his heart though, that he wasn't. "Where exactly is it that we find...people?" He wasn't quite sure how to put it. He couldn't even think of himself as a killer, but that's what he was about to become.
Lance noticed the uncomfortable way Nick was acting. He quickened his pace so he could walk next to him. "You mean victims. You can't think of them as people or you'll never be able to go through with it." Nick looked at him in astonishment, then quickly noticed they had some how managed to fall behind the rest of the group. "Not all of us are mean, Carter."
Nick had to ask the question, and right now, Lance seemed to be the one to answer it. "Is there any way we can survive without killing? I just can't bring myself to do that."
Lance glanced ahead, thinking that they were safe. "We all know you're the ladies man of BSB, Carter. There is another way of survival, but I'm not sure you would even want to try it."
"Please, tell me. I can't even think about killing."
"Well, far be it from me to help out the new guy, but Natasha seems to like you...even though Justin can't stand you." Nick gave him an awkward look. "We never did get along," he said even quieter. "Anyway, here's the deal. There is indeed a way to get human blood without killing. Better yet, it's female blood! You're gonna have a very keen sense of smell for the stuff..."
"Gonna have? My nostrils are practically overflowing with the scent!"
"Good, that's very good! Carter, I'm takin' it you've been...around. In making that call, I'd also assume that you've already done a bulk of many things with the opposite sex." Nick just nodded his head, trying to understand what Lance was getting at. "Ever eaten a girl out?"
"Yea," he said hesitantly, "I've gone down on a girl. What does that..." he stopped in mid sentence, picking up on what Lance was trying to say. "Are you serious?" he asked in horror.
"It's actually not bad at all. In all reality, for me, it's a turn on. Not only am I doing something that I like, but it's helping me survive at the same time. Lots of women find it erotic as well. Just think about it, Carter." Lance soon made his way back to the front of the group, leaving Nick to ponder everything he had heard.
"Carter, you must be famished," Justin announced. Nick made his way over by him and Natasha. "See that group of young women over by our hotel? Pick one and she shall be your prize for the night."
"That would be real smart, Timberlake," he shot back, not even thinking. "I'm seen by all those people picking up a girl and the next day she ends up dead? Not on your life."
"If I had a life, I'd care. But, since I lost mine four hundred years ago, it's not much of a threat. Now, we are all going over there and you will choose one of those lovely ladies over there to take back to the house!"
Nick glanced at Lance and smiled. "All right, Justin. I can handle this." He glided towards the front doors of the hotel along with the rest of the group, coming closer to the bunch of girls. The strong scent of blood grew as he came closer to a young woman in a black dress.
"Oh yea," whispered Lance in Nick's ear. "She's definitely ripe."
Nick gulped at the thought, gathering the courage to approach her. "Good evening," he said confidently. "I was wondering if you'd have the pleasure of escorting me back to my home tonight," he grinned.
Justin was blown away. He figured Nick would buckle under pressure. Something was up. Just then, the scene before him snapped him back to reality.
"You want me to escort you to your home? Me?"
"You're gonna have to excuse her. Tanya never gets approached by guys, so when it happens, she not quite sure how to say that she'd be honored!" another girl said, pushing the timid girl towards Nick.
"Your name is Tanya?" Nick smirked.
"Y...yes," she stammered.
"Beautiful name," he whispered, taking her hand in his and kissing it. "I'm..."
"Nick," she whispered.
"Why yes," he smiled. “Now that we have the introduction out of the way, shall we?” He then proceeded to take her arm in his. The other guys picked a girl each from the bunch, gathering a meal for themselves and their girlfriends. As they walked through the night, the chatter continued and Nick felt himself growing more and more nervous.
"Are you girls all open-minded?" Justin grinned as they walked to the front door.
"Yea," they all agreed.
"Figures," whispered Lance to Nick. "These girls look freaky...but in a good way."
Nick tried to smile, but found that he had to force it. Once inside, he looked around the place, wondering where in the hell he was supposed to go from here.
'Follow me. Your room will be the one next to mine.'
He looked over at Natasha and noticed her small smile, sending shivers up and down his body. 'I just want to be back at the cemetery with you.'
'Nickolas, we will have our time. You must eat first.'
Nick closed his eyes, using it as a way of nodding in agreement. "Follow me," he said to Tanya as he followed Natasha, Justin and another girl. He opened the door to 'his' room and allowed Tanya to enter first. Before he went in, he looked over and saw Natasha standing in the doorway just the same as him. She smiled and soon disappeared into the room. As he stepped into the room and closed the door behind him, the scent of blood became stronger. He locked his eyes on Tanya's figure, licking his lips as his hunger became stronger. "Lay down," he smiled.
Tanya giggled, uncertain of anything and everything. "Why did you invite me back here? I mean, the other girls are much prettier."
Nick inhaled deeply and felt his craving reach a peak. "Shh...don't talk like that. Don't ever down yourself. You're beautiful." He leaned in closer, kissing her gently, seeing only Natasha's face in his mind. He backed her up on the bed, hovering over her body. "Please let me do something for you."
"What?" Her voice was shaky as she spoke.
"Let me please you like no one has before," he breathed on her neck, inhaling her scent even more.
She almost froze. "But I'm...I mean...this week’s not really a good time." She tried to laugh at the situation, but wanted to crawl under a rock.
Nick let out a snort. "Baby, it doesn't matter to me." The only thing he craved more than this was Natasha. In fact, that's all he saw when he looked at this girl. He slid himself down her body, reaching the short hemline of her dress. He hiked it up, smelling what he craved even more. He slid her panties down, trying to ignore the sanitary napkin stuck in them and holding back from ripping her clothes off as he came closer to the feast. As he began to inch his head between her legs, he found himself lunging towards her. He let his tongue lick her up and down, tasting a mixture of the blood and her sweetness. He found himself sucking on her skin, trying not to hurt her with his teeth. His tongue soon found its way inside her and was greeted with what he'd been waiting for. He heard her moans of pleasure, imagining himself with Natasha. The sweet blood flowed into his mouth, though he found that it was no comparison to the blood that came from Natasha. Her blood was like the sweetest nectar from the most beautiful flower. As he felt Tanya's muscles contracting, he got the last of his feast. As he heard her panting heavily from her climax, he also heard the door opening. Whipping around, he saw Natasha standing in the doorway.
"I'm...oh, I'm very sorry," she managed to get out. With that, she closed the door and ran out.
"Natasha, wait!" Nick quickly hopped off the bed, running after her.
"Nick, where are you going?" Soon Tanya came running after him, but didn't make it as far as they did.
"Have you been...abandoned?" Justin questioned as he stood in the doorway. Tanya's eyes began to water. "Here, come here," he said, offering his arms to her. "Step inside my mind," he whispered, leading her into his room and shutting the door behind him.
