Brian awoke early the next morning, bothered by the events of the night before. He knew there was something up with Nick and that Natasha was behind it. Yet, he got no negative vibes from her. He slowly opened the door to the guestroom, peeking in. He was surprised to see Nick awake, gently stroking Natasha's cheek.

"Hey, Frick," Nick whispered, not even looking up.

"Frack, how'd you know I was here?" he asked, knowing he'd opened the door quietly.

"I just knew," he stated, almost sounding sad.

"Nick, please tell me what's wrong. I know something happened...just don't know what."

Nick sighed, remembering Natasha's words..."You'll put him in more danger than what he already is." "I can't tell ya, man. As much as it kills me to say that, I still can't tell ya."

"Is it bad?" Brian began to worry, wondering what exactly Nick had gotten himself into.

He thought for a moment. "Yes and no," he stated with no emotion. His eyes barely left Natasha's sweet sleeping figure, almost getting lost in the love he felt for her. "Have you ever been in love, Frick?"

The question caught Brian off guard. "Umm, yea, I think so."

"Not just like, I mean love."

"Okay, now you're starting to worry me," chuckled Brian. "You meet up with this chick a couple days ago and now you're asking about love?"

"I wouldn't expect you to understand this situation. All I ask is that you trust my judgment."

"Your judgment about what? Wait, I don't wanna know yet. This would be better saved for after rehearsal. Is she coming with?"

Nick stared at her once again. "Yea, I want her there." He watched as Brian headed out the door. "B, man," he said quickly. Brian turned around before walking out. "Thanks...for letting us stay and all."

Brian sighed, wishing he could just take Nick and slap him out of this funk he was in. "It's not a problem. Just get ready."

Nick turned his attention back to his sleeping beauty. He continued caressing her cheek, slowly leaning down and kissing the tip of her nose. His lips softly grazed her right eyelid, then her left one. He gazed down at her, feeling more alive than ever before. A smirk appeared on his face and he soon slid under the covers.

Natasha's eyes slowly opened as she felt the warm breath against her thigh. They opened even wider as a pair of soft lips found the spot she wanted touched most. She lifted the covers, seeing Nick's head between her legs. "Good morning to you too," she lightly laughed.

He raised his head slightly, enough to make eye contact. "I'm not done saying my good morning yet." With that, he went back to work. His tongue licked her sweet wetness, longing to taste more and more of her.

"Nickolas, you have to get ready," she sighed happily, unable to control the pleasure in her voice.

"Pish tosh," he mumbled against her skin, making her shiver. "Oh," he said in a high pitched voice, "my Naty like that?" he grinned.

Soon, there was a pounding at the door. "Hey, what do you guys want for breakfast? I got ham, eggs, hashbrowns, waffles, toast..."

Brian continued rambling on as Nick soon appeared from under the covers, a frustrated look on his face as he lay on top of Natasha. "I was having my breakfast," he muttered as his lips pressed against hers. She giggled lightly while getting lost in the moment once more.

"So, what'll it be?" yelled Brian through the door. Nick and Natasha quietly snickered at how chipper Brian sounded. "Hey, are you guys even awake? Nick, did you fall back to sleep?"

"We'll be out Bri! Give us some time already." They heard the footsteps as he walked away, not saying anything more.

"Nickolas, be calm with him. I can tell he cares about you deeply. He's only concerned about the unknown."

"The unknown, huh? I can make him see the unknown. My hunger is gonna be growing by night..."

"I know you don't mean that," she said timidly. "This is rough for you, but it's rough for him as well. He knows something is going on and he's scared to death for you." Nick gave her a questioning look. "Nickolas, remember...I can read minds, and right now your mind is not where it should be," she smirked, making him blush slightly.

"Sorry, looking at you naked kinda does that to me," he laughed. "Won't let it happen again," he said while going to sit up.

"Ah, ah, ah, ah," she began, pulling him back. "Don't let the thoughts escape your mind completely. Just save them for later, my angel boy." She kissed him passionately on the lips while he lay on top of her.

"Hey you guys, I'm just making a little of everything," called Brian once more through the door.

Nick let out a quiet, yet exasperated, sigh. "Nickolas, be patient with him. He seems lonely without his friend," she smiled sweetly.

"I know. I'm just going through a lot," he said sadly.

"You'll never be alone, Nickolas. I'll always be with you during every part of it." She felt the tears forming as Nick kissed her one more time before they got out of bed.
