"There's my special baby," Nick sighed happily as soon as she came into view. "You were away from me for five minutes...and I couldn't stand it!" he laughed, pulling her closer to him. His lips softly met hers while his hands roamed her body. "I can't wait to get inside you," he whispered, his breath tickling her ear.

Cinder stood there, knowing full well she was ready for this but also stressed about her lie. "Baby, can you hold on a sec?"

"A second longer?" he whined quietly.

"I just need to do something. Be right back," she smiled, closing the bathroom door in his face. She sank slowly to the floor as she leaned against the door. Memories of a conversation she and Nick had towards the middle of their relationship came rushing back to her.
