"Nick?"

"Shhh, I'm trying to listen."

"Nick, we gonna go over that track?"

He looked up as Aaron entered the home studio, giving him a disapproving look. "What is it with you two?"

"Do you know how funny you look with your head against Cassie's stomach?"

"Hey, I've waited two years to do this. Don't ruin it."

She looked down at her husband, not being able to stop herself from thinking back in time. "Was it worth the wait?" she whispered.

Nick looked up, knowing exactly what she was meaning. "Well worth it. Life couldn't be more perfect."

"Hey, lovebirds, kid over here!"

Nick quietly groaned. "Don't worry, honey, he's giving us practice for things to come," Cassie giggled.

Nick was about to go into the recording booth with Aaron but stopped. "You don't know what you've got til it's gone, but I'm blessed to get a second chance at finding out what we could've missed." He kissed her on the hand and joined Aaron, leaving her smiling.
