 Marelon's Bio1978 - 1979 studied Tarot with Norma Cowie 1978-1983 - studied with Dr. Zipporah Dobyns (clinical psychologist astrologer, author): astrology, psychology, counselling ethics, mythology and spiritual concepts also took, by correspondence, Diploma course from Faculty of Astrological Studies in England 1978 - 1983 taught Astrology at Northwest Community College, Terrace, B.C. plus satellite campuses (Prince Rupert, Smithers, Kitimat) 1979 - 1984 - facilitated a Spiritual Development group in Terrace as well as an astrology study group 1980 - 1984 - took many workshops in metaphysical subjects such as chakras, mind control, spiritual healing, also workshops in Teaching Adults, Depression and various personal growth weekend workshops. 1980 - 1983 - taught Marriage Preparation at Northwest Community College, Terrace campus 1980 - 1984- authored Astrological Correspondence Course at the request of Stase Mikal, president of the Fraternity for Canadian Astrologers 1982 - Medical Astrology course with Eileen Nauman Silva Method of Mind Control 1983 - on faculty of National Conference of Fraternity for Canadian Astrologers in Winnipeg 1983 - awarded Mercury award for writing by FCA at National Conference 1982 - 1986 regular column in FCA Journal on counselling skills for astrologers 1985 - on faculty of National Conference of Fraternity for Canadian Astrologers in Richmond 1985 - awarded Mercury award for writing by FCA at National Conference 1986 - took over as Editor of FCA Journal 1987 - on faculty of National Conference of Fraternity for Canadian Astrologers in Montreal 1987 - awarded Mercury award for writing by FCA at National Conference 1989 - "THE BOOK OF NEPTUNE" published 1990 - 2000 - continued in private practice in astrology, giving lectures when requested by various groups in Vancouver and the Okanagan; Astrological Guild, Spiritualists, Shared Vision, etc. 1990 - Counselling Certificate from Counsellor Training Institute 1991 - taught Personal Empowerment course at Visions Books in New Westminster, B.C. 1991 - on faculty of NORWAC conference in Seattle, WA. 1993 - "THE BOOK OF JUPITER" published 1998 - initiated as a Huna Healer by Noreen Palmer, Whiterock BC 1999 - trained to practice Holographic Repatterning 2000 - moved to Cranbrook 2001 - Reiki level 1 - opened practice in Energy Healing and Astrology 2002 - Reiki Level II and Reiki Master level - Developed and taught Awakening Spirit classes - developed and taught Awakening Intuition classes - DNA II/Theta Healing(c)Certification from the originator, Vianna Stibal. - DNA/Theta Teacher's Certification - studied Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) an extremely useful and effective form of "energy psychology". 2003 - Modules 1 and II of Body Talk - Certification in EFT - Levels I and II of Reconnection Healing (c) 2004 - Talk at Lotus Books: Law of Attraction - Talk at Lotus Books: Relationships - Facilitated a study group on the Abraham-Hicks teachings
