My story begins in 1945 near the end of World War II and depicts how a loving couple raised Lotsa Kids in the big city on Lotsa Love, Laughter and Leftovers. I have interviewed Mom, my brothers and sisters and former neighbours; read all issues of the 1945 Toronto Daily Star and Toronto Evening Telegram on microfilm; surfed the net, and asked people in my age group for things they may recall about the era.
