2005 - 2006 Executive Board
President, Debra Fontes - accepted the position as President of the LCHS Booster Club in Sept. 2004. Debra is new to Laguna Creek High School and she is extremely excited to be part of the Cardinal Family. Debra is the mother of 2, a son who is a Junior at Franklin High and a daughter who is an 8th grader.
Vice President, Not Filled for 2005-2006
- The Vice President assists the President in completing the duties of the President. In addition to, keeping track of volunteer hours, completing all EGUSD/School site required paperwork to hold Booster events, and conducting Booster meetings in the absence of the President.
Treasurer, Jennifer Johnson
- Accepted the position of Booster Club Treasurer in May 2004. Jennifer has her Bachelors Degree in Accounting and a Masters in Business. Until recently, Jennifer had been employed in the financial arena since 1981. At this time she is taking time off from work but plans to partner in a small business endeavor in the near future. She previously held the volunteer position of Treasurer for the LCHS Band and this past summer co-chaired the Fireworks Booth for Booster Club. Jennifer is the mother of 3, two are graduates of LCHS, and a son who attends Franklin High School. Click on the lastest Treasury Report for an update on Booster financials.
Secretary, Linda Stokes
- Linda accepted the Secretary position in November 2004. Linda has a senior on campus involved in football and band. Linda has served the board in the past and has performed volunteer work on Sober Grad night and staffed the fireworks booth as well. Her expertise and past experience will serve LCHS Boosters well. Public Relations Officer, Jeanne Delaney
- Jeanne accepted the position as Public Relations Officer of the LCHS Booster Club in October 2004.
Jeanne, a mother of six children, works full-time at home and part-time as a stand-up comedian. She has volunteered as an Art Docent for 9 years at Barbara Comstock Morse Elementary. Her youngest child, a Sophmore, attends LCHS this year. She is excited to support and to serve LCHS, one of the best schools in the Elk Grove District!
Membership Officer, Becky Leon
- The Membership officer position is responsible for the enrollment process for new members and on-going member maintenance. As a member of the Boosters, I hope to make a difference to the students attending our school. Laguna Creek High School is rich in cultural and racial diversity. It’s a source of strength; a source of dynamism. We as parents can take advantage of this diversity to form a neighborhood of unique richness and imaginative strength.
Rewards Card Coordinator, Diane Forsberg
- Coordinator for the Rewards Programs for the Booster Club. Diane provides information to all groups and organizations on the these programs, as well as promotes the programs to parents and interested groups.
Webmaster, Diane Hutchins
- The webmaster is responsible for maintaning the LC Connection Boosters website. I wanted to support the students of Laguna Creek High School by becoming involved in the Boosters, because my parents did the same thing for me when I was in high school and I really appreciated their hard work. Also, it seemed to be the best fit for me and was an area that needed someone to step up and volunteer. I'm having a blast!!!
Transition Officers
- Backup Officers. These Positions are currently open. If you are interested in becoming an Executive Board Member next year and would like to be a backup officer, this is a great opportunity to learn the ropes. We need parents to pass the torch to. ELECTIONS 2005-2006 SCHOOL YEAR
- Board Member Nominations and elections were held in September 2005. If you are interested in serving on the Executive Board, we need you! This is a very rewarding experience.
