FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES
LCHS Booster Club 2005-06 Fundraising Goal
Fundraising
Attention all groups on campus, from small to large, from activities to athletics, you need to schedule a fundraising meeting with a Booster representative and your parents group. This year Boosters is continuing the newly implemented system which allows your group to participate in Booster sponsored fundraising events and receive profit payouts based on a payout percentage dictated by your parent groups member participation in Boosters, both through enrollment and volunteer hours on campus! This method allows your group to leverage your parent base to your best advantage. Have your parents visit this page for explanation of this new system. We are hoping by collectively working together towards a common goal, all individual group fundraising targets will be met and booster meets its goals of providing quality programs like, Senior Sober Grad Night.
Payout Schedule: Minimum Level to Participate: 1)Your group must be credited with 35 Cardinal Hours which can be earned only by enrolling members in Booster Club. See the membership page to enroll. 2)Your group must earn at least 1 V-hour, or direct volunteer Hour, prior to receiving a payout from an event your members participate in. Your groups payout rate increases as either enrollments increase or volunteer hours increase. It's simple, the more your group participates in Boosters, the more your group can earn and the more we improve school spirit at LCHS! See the payout schedule below for details.

The Booster Club promotes fundraising opportunities that are easy and highly profitable. There are 2 seamless ways to raise funds for your group or organization. 1) United Way Employee/Employer contribution Program and 2) eScrip (Safeway, Macy's, etc.) and Scrips (BelAir) Programs. Additionally, your group may participate in Booster fundraising events, such as: Crab Feed, LCHS Swap Meet, and the Spring/Summer Fireworks Ticket Sales and Booth operation, Oilcards and many more added monthly. It is this Boards intention to add more programs in the future, so be sure to check back on the website for future updates.
United Way Contributions
Because the Booster Club is a non-profit organization, you can make contributions through your employer's United Way Contribution program. You can have deductions made with pre-tax dollars. Many employers match employee donations. For example: employee donates $1, Employer matches $1, total donation is $2. Simply select "Other" on the contribution form and write in: "Laguna Creek Cardinal Booster Club - (Your Group Name)". 100% of your United Way Contribution will go back to your group. You can continue giving all year long!
eScrip Program
Shop with our merchant partners and earn money for your school or youth organization. Hundreds of thousands of families across the United States have helped to contribute more than $37 million in support of children's education. Simply sign up and shop with participating merchants.(Safeway, Macy's, MCI, Visa, etc.) Shop for everyday items, shop for fun, shop for the kids! We receive monthly reports and make distributions to groups throughout the school year. To Sign up for eScrip visit the eScrip online registration website.
The Booster Club compiles contribution reports during the year which are based on reports received from the eScrip center 90 days after each month. We distribute funds quarterly. Distribution amounts will be based on your groups shopping activity.
Scrip Program
The National Scrip Center is a non-profit organization that helps other non-profits raise funds. Since their inception 14 years ago, they have helped non-profit affiliates raise over $160 million! In the last 2 years alone they helped non-profits raise over $40 million! And best of all, there is no charge to participate in this program. Our eScrip/Scrip Coordinator has paper/card Scrip Cards available. When you make a purchase at one of the participating merchants, these scrip cards calculate percentage of your purchase which benefits the Booster Club. The Booster Club tracks these purchases and then awards your group based on their shopping activity. If you need cards and enrollment directions please contact, Diane Forsberg.
Fireworks Program
One of the biggest fundraisers sponsored by the Booster Club. Firework sales offers an easy way for your team/club to achieve your annual fundraising goals. Pre-sales start in April. The Pre-Sale program guarantees customers will visit our booth to buy their fireworks and is your groups most profitable payback. Potentially, 45% of the pre-sale coupon sales goes back to your group. Volunteers who work the Booth June 28th - July 4th, will earn a percentage of net profit, distributed amongst all groups who man the booth based on shifts worked. All shifts receive equal payouts with July 4 receiving time and one half for the first three shifts and the last shift that day receives double time. Krispy Kreme Donuts
