Mood:
Many dealers have talked about selling scraps, most say they can provide 2 -5 sellers, ask them how many have actually seen their sellers?
That is the reality about the scrap metal trade at the moment.
I heard about a story about one particular Indian buyer who went for site visit, came back smiling and then what happened? The stocks did not arrive.
Reason? Someone paid a better price for the stock.
It pained to see cases like this, the seller might have made the decision based on higher selling price, prompting them to forfeit their Performance Bond.
But what about the buyer? Don't they want to know know what happen to the poor fellows?
Scrap is such a dirty word, with unscrupulous folks selling greedy folks broking and hapless folks buying.
