Player: Ryan Whitney Year: 2001-02 Make: CCM |
This is one of the most sought-after styles of BU jerseys. The knit pattern is very unique, as the shiny threads create diamond-shaped patterns on the surface of the knit fabric. The black armband has the initials "MLB" for Mark Bavis, brother of BU assistant coach Mike Bavis, who passed away in the 9/11 attacks. A Beanpot patch on the other shoulder was removed. It shows great wear with large stickmarks. The sleeves are pummeled, with 11 repairs on the left sleeve and 5 on the right. Whitney, one of the most highly touted NHL prospects in the collegiate
ranks, opted to sign with the Pittsburgh Penguins after his junior year at BU (03-04). He was the second-highest Terrier to be selected in
the draft, chosen #5 overall by Pittsburgh in
2002. |

Player: Mike Bussoli Year: 2001-02 Make: CCM |
This jersey is very similar in construction to its home counterpart, except that the white sleeve inserts are made of a heavier, traditional solid-knit material. The jersey shows nice wear with stick marks and three great repairs, including a very large one (rougly the size of a silver dollar) by the neck. Bussoli was a solid defender throughout his four year career at BU. |

Player: Sean Fields Year: 2002-03 Make: CCM |
From the same set as the previous jersey, this one shows light, typical goalie wear, with a small stickmark on the front. Fields will go down as one of BU's greatest goalies. In this
jersey, he set career highs with 40 GP, 24 wins, a 2.49 GAA and a .911 save
percentage. He also won the Beanpot MVP and Eberly Trophy, was Hockey East
Tournament MVP (despite losing to UNH in the final), was named Honorable Mention All-Hockey East, and was voted team
MVP. In 03-04, his senior season, he again won the Eberly and Beanpot MVP (despite losing to BC in the final), as
well as the team MVP award. He finished his career as BU's leader in wins, games
played, minutes played and saves. |

Player: Dan Spang Year: 2002-03 Make: CCM |
This was from BU's second home set of 02-03, where the team switched to airknit home jerseys. Unlike its other CCM counterparts, it features a Custom Crafted screened tag in the neck. It shows very good wear with a couple of stick marks and board burns, as well as 8 repairs. Spang was a First Team All-American in his senior year, and was selected by San Jose in the second round of the 2002 draft. |

Player: Brad Zancanaro Year: 2002-03 Make: CCM |
As opposed to their home mesh counterparts, these jerseys were worn the entire season (except in the NCAA tournament). The neck is made of a more elastic material, as opposed to the rigid collars of the home jerseys. The jersey shows great wear with numerous stick marks. The diminutive Zancanaro (at a generous 5'5") has become a BU fan favorite for his speed, tenacity, and feisty style of play. The team's co-captain in 05-06, Zancanaro never missed a game in his college career. |

Player: Stephan Siwiec Year: 2003-04 Make: CCM |
The jersey shows light wear with a few stick marks, though it has decent wear for a backup goaltender's. There are no fightstraps or size tags on these jerseys. This is from BU's first set of home jerseys--they added the 20 year Hockey East patch on the second set. Siwiec saw limited action in the 2003-04 season, as he was the backup to
BU great Sean Fields. He still posted excellent numbers while wearing this jersey,
with a 2-1-2 record, 2.38 GAA, and .916 save percentage. |

Player: David Van der Gulik Year: 2003-04 Make: CCM |
This jersey was worn in the second half of the 2003-04 season, when BU finally put the Hockey East 20th Anniversary patch onto their home jerseys. It shows phenomenal wear with tons of stick marks and a few repairs on the sleeves--the photos do not it justice. |

Player: John Laliberte Year: 2003-04 Make: CCM |
Like last year's versions, this airknit jersey has separate white inserts which are sewn into the jersey, instead of sublimated. This jersey is absolutely pounded with stick marks and 14 repairs, and is one of my favorites. Moreover, it features the Hockey East 20 year patch, making this a very desirable style of BU jersey. Laliberte is a big and tough forward for the Terriers, and was a fourth round pick of Vancouver in the 2002 draft. |

Player: Matt Radoslovich Year: 2004-05 Make: Reebok |
This jersey is very similar to last year's, with the exception of the Reebok logo and the Custom Crafted screened neck tagging. These home jerseys are particularly historic because they were used in the final game at Walter Brown Arena, the first game at Agganis Arena, and in a Beanpot victory. Although the team laundered out most of the stick marks, the sleeves have great wear with about 13 repairs. |

Player: Peter MacArthur Year: 2006-07 Make: Nike |
This is the first year of BU's return to Nike jerseys. They are made of a high-quality airknit and show wear very well. This has nice wear with a few repairs and assorted stick marks. MacArthur was one of the most prolific scorers in recent BU history, being named to Hockey East postseason All-Star teams in each of his four years, as well as a Second Team All-American his senior year. |
