I have been an amateur photographer for a few years and wanted to find some way to share my photos and the other passions that fuel my life like NASCAR and NHRA racing, history and archaeology and simple country life.
I am the younger child of a dedicated drag racer and speed is in my blood. The above picture is the car that my dad races, his gorgeous 1968 e-stock mustang. It does 7.87 on an 1/8th mile track at an average speed of 85-95 mph. It still has it's stock interior including the original steering wheel, am radio and bench seats. The only modifications have been a roll bar, to comply with NHRA track rules, and a quick shifter for that instant off-the-line horsepower. The car is capable of faster speeds but that would require gutting the interior to make room for a full roll cage and modified safety seating and restraints but we like it the way it is. Someday it will be retro-fitted and back touring the streets again. Follow the active Luskville link below for info on Ottawa area NHRA action.
I will be posting additional photos now that I've learned how(thank you dexter)so please come back often for updates and additions.
