The Story
It
happened on October 16th sometime after Brandon and his twin
sister Raeanne were put down for their nap.
Unbeknownst
to their mother they decided to climb out of their bedroom
window to play. When Lisa went to check up on them they weren't
in the room. She ran to the sliding glass door and there she saw
Raeanne floating in the pool. She opened the door and ran to the
pool, screaming.
When she
got to the pool she also saw the other twin, Brandon floating
next to the edge. She jumped in and took the babies out and by
then neighbors were in the back yard to administer CPR to both
babies. When the EMT crew arrived, Raeanne had a pulse so he
picked her up and ran with her. It took sometime to get
Brandon's heart steady so they could transport him to the
hospital. Unfortunately they lost him about a half hour after
arriving. Brandon was loved by many and will be sadly missed. He
brought joy and laughter into many lives. Brandon will
never be forgotten. Our Angel will live always in our hearts.
Raeanne
survived, but with massive brain damage.
Our
hearts were once one or so we both thought
The gifts that we shared were seldom store bought
One day a sweet Angel held a treasure so true
She showed it to us saying please never be blue
I'll give you this baby to hold for a while
Please give him your love and leave with a smile
He wants you to hold him and touch his small face
He'll soon go to Heaven In Gods hands we will place
From high up above he will watch with delight
Give you all of his blessings never leaving his sight
The light shines so bright the time is now here
His soul leaves this Earth his shell we hold dear
As he looks down from Heaven he says "Mom and Dad,
We'll be together one day so don't ever be sad"
Good-bye our sweet baby our hearts filled with love
You were a true gift from the Heavens above.
