Introducción
Nos une un apellido común, por ende una historia similar. En honor a nuestros antepasados hoy existen tres poblaciones en la querida Polonia que son identificadas de igual manera. Remonta nuestro origen a la Edad Media o más allá tal vez. A casi más de 500 años es necesario estrechar los lazos que nos lleven a iniciar una mayor fraternidad entre los hombres de buena voluntad y estimo que los Borawski’s podríamos comenzar a trabajar en pos de ese objetivo.
Desde hace ya tiempo me ha interesado en conocer el origen de mi apellido como así también sobre mi familia paterna. En un principio estaba convencido que sólo existían Borawski en el viejo continente, más específicamente en la tierra natal, Polonia, pese a que mi padre siempre me comentó que un tío suyo había emigrado antes que él hacia Estados Unidos de Norteamérica. Con el tiempo y comenzando a realizar investigaciones me he dado cuenta que la colonia existente en aquel país del norte es numerosa. Los hay también diseminados en distintos países como ser: Canadá, Nepal, Alemania, etc., como así también me he dado cuenta que existen otros Borawski en la Argentina, con los cuales aparentemente no existe un parentesco muy cercano.
Todo
ello me ha llevado al convencimiento de la necesidad de intensificar las
investigaciones recurriendo al método que actualmente nos une más rápido y sin
la necesidad de viajar constantemente. Esto es por intermedio de Internet.
Afortunadamente estas nuevas técnicas de comunicación me posibilitan el
acercarme a aquellos que poseen mi mismo apellido.
El
tiempo y las circunstancias de la vida han hecho que nuestra familia primigenia
(aquella que se originara en Polonia) se haya disipado, en parte, por el mundo.
Pero estas nuevas técnicas mencionadas nos facilitan el acercamiento y mayor
conocimiento mutuo.
Estimo,
junto con mi hermano y nuestros descendientes, que es hora de honrar a aquellos
que nos precedieron, y en su memoria determinar, al menos conocer quiénes somos,
dónde estamos, que hacemos, que aspiramos. Es por ello que hemos ideado esta
página Web.
Por
lo antes dicho, si usted es un Borawski o posee datos de alguna persona que
