There are over 75 different types of whales ranging from 4ft to 80 ft in length. They can live in salt or fresh water and can be found as far north as the Artic Circle and as far south as Antartica. The most common species are the Odonticetti (toothed whale) and Mysticeti (baleen whale). We will just look at few of these as you can see in the chart below.
