"Old Fashioned Charm and Hospitality"

Lytton, British Columbia, Canada
(at the junction of the Fraser and Thompson rivers)
Phone: (250)455-2321

Your Hosts: Rose and Uli Dobler

Situated in the rafting capital of B.C., and overlooking the Fraser River, the Totem Motel has twelve cottage-style units to choose from: smoking or non-smoking units, some with kitchens or queen-size beds, as well as 1 or 2 bedroom family suites. All units have private bathrooms, cable T.V., are carpeted and air-conditioned, and some can accommodate up to 6 people. No pets please.

The Totem Motel also includes a lodge built in 1912, originally called Brophy House, now with 3 self-contained units. The reception area, which held the post office until the 1950s, has been partially restored to its original finish and features a small historic display about Lytton.

Come browse the gift shop, where you will find books on the history, Native people and the natural beauty of Lytton and the surrounding areas. You will be close to world-class hiking in the breath-taking Stein Valley, or you can experience the exhilaration of rafting down the mighty the Fraser River. You can also just relax in our garden with seats and swings that overlook the river.
