These drums, once belonging to Count Walsegg, were uncovered by Walther Brauneis of Vienna from Stuppach where the Mozart Requiem manuscript was also unearthed in 1828. They may have been used in the 1793 Wiener-Neustadt performance conducted by Count Walsegg.
