December 3

Hello hello, happy December everyone. Christmas will be here soon, and this will be the first year I haven't spent it in BC with my family. Of course I'll miss the traditional Anderson Christmas, but I'm also excited to do something different for once. Edinburgh has been all spiffed up for the holidays, there's lights on all the trees on Princes St, a little German market with pastries and stuff, a big ferris wheel at the end of the street, and an ice rink outside in the middle.

I've worked two days at Virgin Megastore now, and I'm loving it there. You just get to stand there listening to loud music all day. The people are pretty good, but not as friendly as my Starbucks crew I must say.

Tonight we're going bowling - it's student night at this posh bowling alley that has orange and blue lights, pool tables, an arcade, a bar, and best of all..... in the gents toilets there are tv screens behind a sheet of glass that you whiz on. What more could you ask for.

Anyway, I'm going to keep this relatively short and sweet, since my last entry about Wales turned into an epic novel.

adios!
