And now, Chapter Two in the Chronicles of Haligonia & Vancouveritia:

When we last left our hero, Neilore (the young centaur), he was in the process of travelling to Vancouveritia with his mother, goddess Lianna. Lianna was fleeing Haligonia, for she could not bear to be surrounded by so many gods who adored her. Between Robertus (the boat god), Douglasto (god of literature and the arts), and Danielus (god of law and justice) - Lianna could not choose which one to have her next affair with. They had resorted to fighting each other for her love, and she could not bear to see a war started over her. So rather than killing herself, she felt it easier to move to Vancouveritia.

Anyway, Lianna hopped on her Pegasus and flew to the other westernly clouds beyond Haligonia. Neilore required two pegasus horses to carry him since he was so heavy (as most centaurs are). When they arrived in Vancouverita, they discovered it was a far, far different world than they had imagined. The trees were much taller, the forests vaster, and huge mountains (much like Mount Olympus) surrounded them. Neilore was delighted with the new scenery, and ran off immediately in search of his true love, Daphne, the forest nymph.

Meanwhile, there was trouble brewing. Mikury, Daphne's father, had been watching all this happen. Although Mikury lived deep in the forests of North Vancouveritia, he still knew ALL - for he had a wonderful photographic mind with telepathic capabilities. He was NOT prepared to let Daphne run off with some CENTAUR.

But Lianna was not going to let her son, Neilore, be unhappy, so she developed a plan to fix everything. She decided to cast a spell on Mikury. She slowly began boiling Mikury's blood, which raised his body temperature. Mikury was not harmed by this, but he became extremely hot and could not bear to live in Vancouveritia any longer. He had to flee to a colder climate immediately. So he ended up in the region ruled by his royal highness, Prince George. Mikury was fuming at what Lianna had done to him, and at the thought of what his poor innocent Daphne was doing alone in the woods with Neilore.

Lianna, now feeling a sense of accomplishment, decided to give herself a rest. She sent a message to her very, very dear friend - Luna - and told her that she was now living in the same area. Luna was the goddess of the moon - which made her an excellent overlooker of humans on the Earth. Some gods and goddesses went as far as to say that she SPIED on the poor humans, but Luna preferred to think of it merely as checking up on them. Anyway, when Lianna came to see Luna, Luna showed her one of her favourite humans she watched - Markus. Luna watched over Markus SOOO much that the gods she associated with were starting to get a little jealous. Crusher (god of flirtation) and Jamethus (god of the shops) were particularly enamoured with Luna. But since Luna had been paying all her attention to the silly immortal - Markus, Crusher had given up on her and began courting a young wench.
