this page is just my opinion of what musicians are good and what musicians aren't.

celine dion :

it's because of music like hers that i take the stairs instead of the elevator.

bob marley :

he is the reason people tolerate raggae music today ...

methods of mayhem :

i don't feel the need to express how bad this band is ... everyone pretty much knows that already ... at least anyone with good taste. tommy lee is a spoiled bastard. everytime i see him get interviewed i always seem to be amazed on how the person interviewing him is able to fight that urge of slapping tommy lee upside the head.

the dave matthews band :

ever hear a band in the radio that was so horrible that you'd keep changing the station until the song was over . that's exactly what i do when a dave matthews song plays on the radio.

indian music :

you know i was changing the channel on t.v. and i came across a hindu channel ... it's like 10 times louder than any other channel ... are hindus deaf or something? i mean i guess they'd have to be to make the music they make.

matchbox 20 :

see dave matthews band.

michael jackson :

this is a perfect example of how a white man is keeping the black man down. can you imagine how famous michael jackson would be if he were black right now and not white?

the cure :

the cure have been around for 20 years and they're still one of the most popular and influential bands in the music industry today. enough said.

macy gray :

it's a good thing macy gray made it in the music industry ... now she won't have to worry about getting enough money to support her crack addiction. well, at least not for a while. i really haven't heard her that much other than two songs so i won't judge her anymore than i already have. i just don't see what all the hype about her is about.

nine inch nails :

during the early 90s, i would introduce nine inch nails to various people who in return would just shove guns and roses cds in front of my face. in 1994 when they got big with the album downward spiral, they all of a sudden started liking it. it's pretty sickning . as big as they've gotten though, i'm still a big fan of nine inch nails and will continue to be so.

metallica :

someone should tell metallica that the 80s are over ... they need to cash in their millions and retire. i'm tired of hearing the same shit from them album after album.

deftones :

they are the best band to come out in a while

nsync, backstreet boys, 98 degrees, etc :

i don't understand how people listen to this shit. companies get 5 metrosexuals together because they know they can get little girls to obssess over them . they'll get their moms to buy them an album and presto. those bastard companies make a shitload of money. unfortunately it will take a little time for these bands to dissapear because we have to wait until their teeny bopper fans grow up and realize how shitty the music they listen to is, kind of like what happened with new kids on the block fans.

eminem :

isn't it funny how in rap songs they say things like "step to me and i'll bust yo lip" and "i'll kill all you motherfuckers who be disrespecting me" and in the end of the song they say "peace" :o\ . eminem is not bad i guess...but i still think rap sucks.

the grateful dead :

the only reason people like the grateful dead is because they were one of the first bands that openly smoked pot ..let's face it, if the grateful dead never smoked pot, do you think that they'd have as big of a fan base as they do now? my opinion on this band is explained by this grateful dead joke : what did one deadhead say to the other deadhead when they ran out of pot? this music sucks.

creed :

i change the station every time their song is on the radio. his voice is annoying and no matter how catchy some of their song's chorus's are to some people, it's not for me.

aaron carter :

in a world filled with talented artists, they give a 13 year old a record deal because he's related to one of the backstreet boys ... i don't get it.

ricky martin and henrique inglesias :

ricky martin and henrique inglesias are good ................... FOR ME TO POOP ON!!!!!!!!!

therapy? :

i've always been a big fan of therapy? i have to admit that i think it's time for them to call it quits though. their last 3 albums aren't really good. i'll always remain a fan though. just wish they changed their name when they changed the members

marilyn manson :

i don't listen to marilyn manson. i do on the other hand think they're a good band. then again they're a joke. before they were a goth band, they were a glamour band.

stabbing westward :

not that the lyrics aren't good, because they are, but sometimes, the lead singer whines a little too much. if he wasn't so negative and suicidal in his lyrics, i'm sure they'd get a lot more airplay and recognition. still,it's a great band.

santana :

i hope he enjoys his pity grammys.

blink 182 :

mediocre band ... i guess they're ok...

ac/dc :

they are a good band though..not a fan of theirs though

brittany spears and christina aguilara :

they're ditzes

slowdive :

if you're into ambient music, this is the band to listen to along with soul whirling somewhere

smashing pumpkins :

i don't know what it is, but i have this strange fascination with d'arcy. there's something about her ... i don't know ... anyway, i like smashing pumpkins but not to the point that i'm dissapointed that they broke up. billy corgan is pretty annoying.

cannibal corpse :

this band is one of those bands that have songs that all sound the same.

guns n roses :

legend band

nothingface :

i heard one of their songs (breathe out) which i liked so i bought their album. it was the only good song on the cd. thanks to community music sites,..i'll never have to buy another cd for one song again

unbroken :

easily the best hardcore band ever

puff daddy :

he sickens me..ripping off hit song instrumentals and rapping over them does not mean you are talented.. he would be nothing if not for the notorius p.i.g. .

the beatles :

in my opinion, john lennon was the only one with any real talent.

everclear :

good bunch of guys, but ripping off your own hit single to make other hit singles may fool everyone else, but it doesn't fool me.

soul whirling somewhere :

this is another ambient band. it's one of my top ten bands. it takes a while to get used to but after that while you'll find yourself listening to it all the time.

nirvana :

another legend band..although kurt cobain was an annoying prick according to every single person that has ever known him .. he was a great muscian though

portishead :

they're ok.

korn :

i hate every single member of korn ... but i would be lieing if i said that they weren't a good band. in the same way that i still wouldn't buy one of their albums, i wouldn't change the radio station if one of their songs were on.

e town concrete :

they suck to the point where you can almost picture monica lewinsky blowing bill clinton which in turn would make you think of someone sucking.

depeche mode :

they made 3 good albums..ultra, violater, and songs of faith of devotion. everything else they made though fits their gay stereotype

life of agony :

one of my all time favorite bands.

hole :

you know i'll be honest i thought the album live through this was excellent. but hole is dead now...kind of like the real courtney love.

linkin park :

this band is ok..it's a bunch of good guys who actually stay after every concert and hang out with the crowd...i can do without the rap in the album ..i must admit i was afraid they'd become idiots like fred durst and ruin it for themselves..but after hearing them in an interview..they seem ok.

kill holiday :

i like this band ... the lead singer and the guitar player used to be from the band unbroken. it's different and takes a while to get used to. it's pretty much an emo cd but it doesn't sound like the typical whiny emo band

jon bon jovi :

i went to the same high school that bon jovi went to ... sayreville war memorial high school ... yep, you guessed it, i live in sayreville, nj. it's a nice place ... not even one gangbanger ... it's a nice place ... fuck, it's perfect ... well, not perfect, after all like i said, bon jovi used to live here.

type o negative :

their lyrics might be corny, but they're voice and style of playing is original and not to mention excellent .. they're the perfect band to play while you're fucking someone.

tool :

it might be just me, but i never really got into tool. i love the song passenger that he sang with the deftones .. the way he sung that song stays in your head ... but their other songs besides aenima and stinkfist just sound like your typical radio hits ... i prefer a perfect circle

joy division :

listening to joy division makes me want to jump off a bridge ... still, i can't get enough of it ... yep there was a hard period in my life ... thanks go to my dad. just notice the music i grew up listening to : joy division, life of agony, therapy?, nine inch nails, unbroken, the cure, stabbing westward, soul whirling somewhere, the smiths, etc ... yep, that hard period was the hardest month of my life.

slipknot :

this band overated... i have no respect for bands that need to use costumes as a gimmick to be reckognized instead of being reckognized for their musical talent... well, i of course don't mean gwar...they're funny. my opinion of slipknot's future? take the knot off their name and add pink in front of the remaining word.

henry rollins :

i've always enjoyed henry rollins ... not many people know him for being as smart as he is considering he looks like adam sandler turning into the incredible hulk. he's one of a handful of people i wouldn't mind meeting. my list for meeting people is very short.

loudcat, eunuch, antibody, i'm a fag who thinks noise is music, or any other failed project by jordan krall :

do you believe that making sounds like opening a door is music? then you're as big of a moron as jordan krall is. here's a fuck that went to high school with me who everyone thought was the biggest dork but i befriended because i felt sorry for him and because i wanted to help fucked up people out because a good friend of mine was fucked up and ended up killing himself. this jackass turned out to be the biggest ungrateful fuck i've ever met. my best description of him is judy garland like...bitching about everything, because no one likes him..i wonder why? maybe it's because you're a prick?..it takes a lot to make me hate someone and this guy did a good job of doing so. he is the biggest sack of shit i know..and if being a sack of shit isn't bad enough, this prick ended up getting with some chick with a kid who is old enough to be his mom..settling like that shows how much a loser he is period...this prick steals an emblem gimmick originally from the deftones (loudcat) and claims that he invented it?... my description of his shit? pure crap....someone making noise with their armpits has more harmony..he claims noise is music...NOISE IS NOT MUSIC!! it's something people with no talent turn to. funny how he's been selling his music recorded on 99 cent tapes for 50 cents. dumbass

moby :

i talked to him for like 8 minutes ...along with a bunch of other people. his religious and vegan ramblings get old though

led zeppelin :

they're ok i guess..i just like two of their songs

u2 :

i would have more respect for u2 if bono was more like he was in the 80s.. he tries to hard to be hip

david bowie :

he has done it all (including mick jagger) ... but i have nothing but respect for him ... he's the influence to a majority of excellent bands today.

john tesh :

a lot of people joke around about using john tesh cds as coasters ... i don't joke about it ... i actually use his cds as coasters.

limp bizkit :

it's too bad that limp bizkit turned their backs on the hardcore scene to make more money by making an album that focused to all audiences. it comes out as a big fuck you to the hardcore fans who supported them. what pisses me of is that they deserted a solid hardcore fan base to make these two recent shitty albums. i liked their first album. i honestly still believe it's one of the best hardcore cds out. but they're obviously a joke right now.

kid rock :

who the fuck buys his cds? this guy has no talent at all. but what can you expect from a country where bands like nsync and the backstreet boys are number one. some one needs to slap this guy upside the head and tell him that he's white.

update :

i actually like one of his songs (lonely road of faith). go figure

nickelback and bryan adams :

america gives canada bon jovi and creed and in return, canada gives us bryan adams and nickelback. it's war i tell you. so far i think canada is winning. their music is killing us

mushroomhead :

start a band. if they can get a record contract, so can you

misery loves company :

they're probably one of my top ten bands right now. they're basically a swedish band who sing in english and, unlike other foreign bands that don't speak english, do a good job at it. they've just recently broke up with the singer of the band now singing in the band washoe,...regardless, go out and listen to them.

ramones :

it's sickning how many fans they have now that didn't care about them until after joey ramone died. all in all, ramones were an ok band with ok songs. ramones

stone temple pilots:

yeah, they're a good band, but scott weiland tries to hard to get a jim morrison like persona. the fact that i'm not the only one who see this makes me happy.

paul mc cartney :

his music apart from the beatles is a joke. john lennon would have had 10 cds of greatest hits by now if he were still alive.

eddie vedder :

keep wearing a mo hawk in protest eddie, i'm sure being on strike by having a mo hawk will teach them politicians a lesson or two.

drowning pool :

how is it that i haven't heard any "let the bodies hit the floor" jokes since dave williams died?

brittany spears and jennifer lopez:

it's sad that a lot of people don't know what i'm about to say. here's why people like me have no respect for people like brittany spears and jennifer lopez besides the fact that they don't write their own songs. they have karoake voices. they're basically just dancers. they go to the studio, sing (badly i might add), the producer changes their voice until it's bearable by adding echo, changing the tone of the voice, etc... (ever wonder why everything sounds better after recorded in a studio?), and presto, brittany and jennifer lopez don't have to sing again until their next album because they lipsync at their concerts. anyone with a mediocre voice after this process singing songs written my professionals can make a hit.

audioslave :

the truth is you need earplugs to hear some of the songs on their album. i still don't get how some people aren't annoyed by chris cornell's whining in a lot of his songs. regardless, i guess they're a decent band. highly overated though... people on the radio claim they're one of the greatest bands nowadays,..that's sad..mostly because it's true... music nowadays has gone to shit

andrew w.k. :

all the songs on his album are basically identical to each other. i guess that's why his dumb ass fans like every single song on the album. or at least that's the only conclusion i can come up with from listening to his album on kazaa out of curiosity to figure out what all the hype about him is about. if you think his album is "excellent" like many claim, you really need to discover new bands.

pink :

she's such a fucking joke. she sings pop music yet she tries to convince everyone that she's all rock/punk by this attempt at originality image she's flaunting. on a side note though, it truly is funny how she convinced christina aguilera to do the same thing to change the pop star image they had or were going to have during their talks when they collaborated on the lady marmelade song they did together. in short, teeny boppers buy her album..teeny boppers who own a lot of other pop albums

far :

this band broke up a while ago .... the lead singer, jonah matarenga (?), is now doing solo work under the name onelinedrawing,..you'll either love them or hate them...personally, i think far's water and solutions album is underated considering it's better than most of the shit that plays on the radio nowadays...anyways, if you have a chance give that album a listen...it's not the greatest album, but it's good enough to be in my cd collection.

boys II men :

what the fuck happened to them? why the hell did they change their image and start talking in ebonics and dress in camoflauge? looks like the same thing that ruined whitney houston's career ruined theirs. a black entourage

rancid / pennywise / hatebreed / snapcase :

a lot of my friends ask me why i haven't done reviews on these bands yet. it's because i basically assumed that everyone knew that they sucked already

aerosmith :

you know, i may have lost interest in them after their album "pump",...but they are beyond a doubt a great band. they've made more hits than just about anyone. they are like this generation's rolling stones,...and yes, i'm aware that they both started around the same time. wonk .

tea party :

this band takes a while to get used to, but they're worth downloading..i don't know about actually getting one of their cds though...maybe if i didn't have kazaa.

more reviews to come
