Words of Wisdom
Sage Advice from Real People

Well here's the new page as of now. I was just talking with Drew and half the stuff coming out of his fingers was profound truth... or at least it sounded it like it to me just now. Luckily I have transcripts. So here goes nothing.
Drew on Relationships:
- "Just luck is needed as well as suave, calm, be yourself-ness"
- "Be open with your love; Normal with it"
- "If you're nice, and act fairly cool, she'll notice."
- "Whether or not she accepts [your romantic interest in her] is up to her [carrying on after rejection damages everybody's opinion of you]"
- "If you [love] someone, you don't blow their head off with a ill timed, not very well planned speech of your feelings"
- "Keeping it in the closet isn't good. And dont get attached until you know you both like each other. Save yourself some heartache [by not focusing on a one-sided relationship]"
- "Be Nice, and put yourself in their shoes... so to speak. High heels might kill ya (you know I meant metaphorically!). What I mean is, dont be a dumb, self centered ego-pumped idiot or they'll pay no attention your way. Try to tune in to their thoughts and feelings too, and you'll both be much happier."
Advice from Me
- Don't let people tell you secrets; even if you don't crack and spill the beans, it's a hassle for not much return on your investment.
- Lying catches up to you eventually. Be honest, but you have to know when to keep your big honorable mouth shut. Trust me on this one.
- Get a lawyer. The mere threat of lawsuit can keep people off your case, and plus you can dispute speeding tickets.
- Read books. You'll learn to spell better and new words. Make sure you know how to pronounce your new vocabulary before you try to impress the smart chick at the office though.
- If a dog is tied up, stay away from it. Especially if it is black/barking at you. I bled for this one, so please, don't screw it up.
