For as long as I can remember, my family has watched movies fairly regularly. But it truly became a tradition, a part of our lives we could not live without, after my grandmother on my mother's side won a lottery. Not a million dollars, mind you, but about 150 free movie rentals at "More than Movies". She gave us 52 and so every week, my mother, brother, and I would go to MTM and pick a movie for the family to watch. Sometimes we would get more than one, specialized-like, with a movie for me and my mom, or me and my brother, or my mom and dad. That was years ago
I've watched hundreds of movies in my short life, spent hundreds of hours. One accomplishment I distinctly remember: I have seen every James Bond movie there is to date. There are like 21 of them, I think. I also have seen the movie Clan of the Cave Bear(R)- this I remember because I got all the books after my grade 7 teacher read us this one (in a censored fashion). I've seen many movies, too many to remember, those I do it is because I have seen them multiple times, they have some special connection, or are really unique/excellent/popular.
