A select liaison team, including several members of the BCSCC, has been monitoring areas around Saanich Inlet, Vancouver Island, since the summer of 1999 within the framework of the CaddyScan project under the scientific direction of Dr. Ed Bousfield and the technical aegis of Jason Walton. Since 2001, CryptoSafari has endeavoured to solve the problem some of the world's most enigmatic creatures. Cryptosafari is looking for sponsors, benefactors and supporters to help fund and equip expeditions.
