Bruce - The Man, The Myth, The LegendMy hero, idol, favorite actor, and all around nice guy is a man by the name of Bruce Campbell. He is an actor, producer, editor, writer and now author. He started out as a small time filmmaker, with his friend director, Sam Raimi. They made a bunch of 8mm horror films, and out of college, they made "Evil Dead." It's a cheaply made horror film where Bruce and his college friends go into the woods to an abandoned cabin, only to awake the evil of the woods. It's a cult classic, and I suggest you rent it. He is also big in TV show appearances. He plays Atolycus in Xena and Hercules episodes, and he was on the show Ellen for awhile. He has his own show on TV called Jack of all Trades. It's on Saturday at 6pm. He has written his autobiography, "Confessions of a "B" Movie Actor." It's due out in Fall. In it he talks about how Hollywood isn't everything it's cut out to be.

Bruce and Me
I recently met Bruce in person at a Xena convention in Mesa, Arizona. I got an autograph, and a picture with him, that you can see on the right. He was very cool and down to earth, not like some actor and actresses that think they're better than everyone else. Truly a professional. |
