SAPPHO WITCHCAMP -
Annual SAPPHO in September at Loon Lake. Sappho Witchcamp
was started by the 3 Norns in 1992, who arose out of BCWC, to address the need for a camp just for
womyn. Sappho has taken on an identity of her own; She is a
Dianic-identified camp for lesbians and lesbian-positive womyn -- a time to be together to
rediscover our spirituality, our sexuality and remember or rediscover the womyn's
community. Over the past years
since 1992, 35-50 women have
come to Sappho each year from Canada, the US, Australia and Europe.
Co-founder of Of a Like Mind, vocal
recording artist, author, Dianic priestess Ruth Rhiannon Barrett, seasoned Dianic elder
priestess, ritualist, educator, and recording artist dedicated to the empowerment of women
through the reclamation of the Goddess and Feminist Spirituality. Fees: $275-$450 Can /
$200-$350 US sliding scale. (Pay what you can afford to pay on this scale).
