08-12-2001 There will be a new kenshin ova

According to Weekly Jump, the "Seisou Hen"(Passing of Time Saga) will be a continuation of the first OVA (Tsuioku Hen-Memory Saga) and will also conclude the anime.

09-27-2001 According to Sony's official Kenshin Website, the new OVAs will be released on 2 volumes with the first volume to be released on December 19th and the second volume sometime in February. It is currently not known if there will be only these two episodes, or more.

According to the website there will also be a special contest where fans will be invited to send in postcards with the name of who they think will be the voice actor playing Kenshin's son, Kenji. Five winners will be selected from those who answer correctly and each will receive a poster signed by the main voice cast.
