Whiteflash Strikes Twice!
Kammer's late goals lead Pants United to victory.

On a perfect night for European Football, the fans witnessed a thrilling match-up between two rival Law School teams. With his side trailing 2-1 in this crucial fixture "The Clooney Faced" Assassin took matters into his own capable hands, striking twice in the last five minutes of the game to give Pants United a stunning away victory.

After dubious penalty had given host F.D.S. a 2-1 lead with just under 8:00 minutes to play, a desperate Pants United side pressed the attack. They finally broke through with a lovely move when All-World Mid-fielder Mike Frailey advanced the ball down the left side of the pitch, crossed back to the middle, and took on two defenders before finally finding an open Kammer who equalized by putting the ball past the keeper to the near side.

Unsatisfied with simply equalizing, Kammer sought to give his squad the victory, and delivered just that when merely minutes later, with time winding down Frailey again found Kammer. This time Whiteflash launched a piledriver from 25 yards away that ripped into the top corner of the net past a stunned keeper. "It was a lovely strike of the ball." sweeper Milone (recently imported from Serie A) had to say afterwords, "We've been playing strong lately, we knew if we kept pressing we'd convert an opportunity eventually."

"It was bloody impressive." said Jimmy Floyd Hasslebank, who reportedly has been scouting Kammer for sometime now,"I would have gone for the glory myself (no real suprise there), but Frailey made a lovely pass and Kammer just hammered it home -- he looked like a young Bergkamp. He's redefining the game everytime he steps on the field."

Pants United had several first half opportunities. On a partial breakaway, Rover Joshua Freeman was denied an opening goal when The Bohm made a fine save. Kammer almost put the rebound home. Later in the first, Frailey almost put Pants on the board, but his strike went just wide. The teams went into half-time tied 1-1; with Freeman assisting on the Pants goal and F.D.S. scoring on a long ball off a goal kick.

In the second half, Dana "The Wall" Long kept the team in the game with several key saves and some help from timely challenges by the defensive trio of Milone, Winsberg, and Davis. Setting the stages for Kammer's late game heroics.

With less than 2 minutes to play, Kammer just missed adding a hat trick to his already Man of the Match performance when he rocketed a shot off the stachion with the keeper well beaten. "I would have loved the hat trick," Kammer said in a post-game interview,"but I'm happier with the win."

So is the rest of the squad, as Pants United advanced up the table to 2-1, and 2nd place.
