Slipping
sinking into darkness, I cry out
hoping someone will notice, someone will care
it's a dream I can't wake up from
I'm so scared, but no one hears my voice
no one even looks up
this pain is too much for me, I have to let go
I reach out my hand, hoping that someone is there to take it
yet no one does...
so I give up, and give in.
