feeling the danger
and living the night
all the wrong choices
might just start up a fight
drink all that you want to
or take a few hits
spend the time loving it
and then call it quits
you know you can't stop now
don't bother to try
the rush of that substance
gives you no need to ask why
until you wake up, that is
assuming you do
when asked what you did that night
you don't have a clue
your head throbs, your throat aches
you can't barely breathe
you get up, you stand up
your stomach starts to heave
but you know you can't stop this
addicted to that high
as always you'll go back there
for just one more try
