Another season with an overrated coaching staff. This guy cannot motivate and holds a grudge against certain players. Peca and Biron left from the Nolan error. This coach has more talent then Nolan ever was given. We lack toughness and drive. We traded or lost some good talent while watching Zhitnik and Shmelik also Patrick. If were going to lose at least have players who put out an effort. This team lacks heart and leadership. Your response is welcome

Interesting points from a die-hard fan. I have been a Ruff fan for the last few years based on what the team has done. Just two short years ago this team was in the Cup finals, I find it hard to believe that the team suddenly stopped listening. I have always believed that it is the players responsibility to perform on a nightly basis. Much of the argument I have with Ruff lies within line combo's and player favoritism. Often times you see a line clicking and then switched around. Players shifting between lines, moving around positions, things like that. I would much rather see four lines together for a few games. The lack of benching Alex Zhitnik during last season also concerned me somewhat. With Zhitnik the Sabres kind of were trapped in a hole. We basically had no one better to move the puck and chew up ice time. That will change this season as Jay McKee looks like a potential number one defenseman. Zhitnik will be on a short string, especially with his four game suspension. I don't think we have a shortage of either heart or leadership, but you can never have enough of either element. I think the absence of Peca is showing, no matter how much certain fans want to downgrade it. Peca plays with heart and determination and we definitely need him. If the Sabres struggle again this year, expect Ruff's job to be seriously at risk. Great Comments! You Are A Dedicated Fan!
