Victoria defeated Kelly Kelly in 5 minutes.

Colin Delaney defeated Armando Estrada in less than 1 minute.
Hornswoggle defeated Armando Estrada in less than 1 minute.
And in the main event, John Morrison & The Miz retained
their WWE Tag Team Titles by defeated The Big Red Machine Kane & CM Punk in
8 minutes.
WWE’s ECW is broadcast on the Sci-Fi Channel
Ringside announcers: Mike Adamle & Tazz
Ring announcer: Tony Chimel
Hornswoggle standing 4’4”
Vs.
Armando Estrada from Havana, Cuba weighing 238 lbs.
Hornswoggle has a cigar in his hand and he breaks it in two
and throws it at Estrada, then bails out of the ring and runs around the ring,
going under the ring and coming out with marbles which trips up Estrada. Estrada
gets back in the ring and Hornswoggle nails Estrada with a water gun.
Hornswoggle goes back under the ring. Hornswoggle comes out the other side and
Estrada pulls Finlay out from under the ring who nails Estrada with a water gun.
Hornswoggle comes off the ring apron and sends Estrada to the floor, Finlay
rolls Estrada back into the ring. Hornswoggle delivers the tadpole splash and
gets the three count. Time: 3 minutes.
Winner: Hornswoggle
Tazz comes around the ring to talk to Finlay before Finlay
and Hornswoggle dance in the center of the ring and we go to commercial break.
Matt Striker, already in the ring, from NY
Vs.
Eric Bourne weighing 187 lbs.
I know what Bourne can do in the ring and Striker may have
the same talent but Striker generally doesn’t do much in the way of wrestling.
Bourne goes over the top rope and lands on the ring apron but it
doesn’t look like he landed right. Bourne gets caught coming over the top
rope; Striker goes for the cover and gets a two count. Striker again goes for
the cover and gets another two count. Bourne delivers a high knee and then a
hurricanrana. Bourne goes for a standing moonsault but Striker gets a foot up.
Bourne goes up on the top turnbuckle, comes off with a somersault, goes for the
cover and gets a three count. Time:
3 minutes.
Winner: Evan Bourne
For a three-minute match, Bourne took a lot of hits from
Striker. Bourne has been showcasing his talent since he appeared as Bourne in
the WWE ring. After the match, Knox
enters the ring and delivers a neck breaker to Bourne and we go to commercial
break.
Mike Knox from Phoenix, AZ
Vs.
Kofi Kingston from Jamaica weighing 217 lbs.
Knox’s weight wasn’t announced, but I think he’s around
280 which means Kingston is giving up some weight in this match. Last week
Kingston & Bourne defeated Knox & Benjamin in a tag team match. Kingston
delivers a kick to Knox’s knee and has Knox down on the mat. Kingston tries to
roll Knox but Knox picks up Kingston and sends him back first into the corner
post. Knox goes to work on Kingston’s back. Knox delivers a block to the back
of Kingston’s neck but Kingston nails Knox with a kick and comes off the top
turnbuckle with a cross body block. Kingston gets a two count. Kingston delivers
a drop kick and Knox is down on the mat. Kingston delivers a leg drop but
Shelton Benjamin enters the arena and heads toward the ring. Benjamin enters the
ring and goes after Kingston and the ref rings the bell. Actual match time: 3
minutes.
Winner: Kofi Kingston via disqualification
Shelton tries to kick Kingston but nails Knox instead.
Kingston bails out of the ring and heads back up the ramp and we go to
commercial break.
Finlay & Hornswoggle are backstage with Long &
Tiffany. Long has a contract for Finlay & Hornswoggle to sign for them to
face Morrison & Miz for the tag team titles at Night of Champions. Miz shows
up to ask if he and Morrison are going to have to face Finlay & Hornswoggle
for the tag team titles. Finlay nails Miz and slams the contract on his chest
before leaving the area.
CM Punk from Chicago, IL weighing 225 lbs.
Mr. MITB and we go to commercial break. Back to the action,
Vs.
John Morrison from Los Angeles, CA weighing 220 lbs.
Without any outside interference, this could be a good match.
The referee has to get between the two men before the bell rings. The ref ends
up between the two again shortly after the match begins. We have a shoving match
in the center of the ring but Punk delivers a few kicks to break it up. Punk
comes off the ropes and sends Morrison to the mat. Morrison delivers a back
breaker but Punk comes back with an inverted atomic drop. Punk delivers a high
kick to the head and goes for the cover. Punk gets a one count. Morrison drops
Punk on the ring apron then delivers a baseball slide, sending Punk to the
floor. Morrison goes out to the floor after Punk and rolls him back into the
ring. Punk comes off the ropes and receives a knee in the abdomen. Morrison goes
for the cover but Punk kicks out. Morrison goes to work on Punk’s ribs, which appear to still
not be healed from last week. Punk breaks it up with a knee to Morrison’s head
but Morrison slams Punk into the corner post. Morrison goes back to work on the
ribs and goes for the cover but Punk kicks out again. Punk rolls Morrison over
but Morrison gets a shoulder up before the ref can count. Morrison hangs Punk up
on the top rope and then delivers a kick to the rib cage. As Punk tries to
shoulder block Morrison, Morrison gets a knee up and catches Punk in the head.
Morrison goes for the cover and gets a two count. The fans are chanting for
Punk. Punk tries for the GTS but Morrison counters and delivers a knee to
Punk’s midsection. Morrison delivers a kick to the ribs and goes for the cover
getting a one count. Morrison goes after Punk with right fists and again goes
for the cover but Punk kicks out. Morrison applies a body scissors to Punk. Punk
delivers a right hand and then another before delivering an airplane spin.
Morrison is down on the mat but Punk is back in the corner. Punk comes across
the ring and delivers a high knee, goes for the bulldog but misses. Punk
delivers a power slam and goes for the cover getting a two count. Morrison nails
Punk in the skull with a knee and goes for the cover. Morrison gets a two count.
Morrison delivers a backdrop and goes for the cover but again he gets a two
count. Morrison comes over the top rope; Punk catches him and delivers the GTS,
goes for the cover and gets the win. Time: 10 minutes.
Winner: CM Punk with a GTS
That was a great match. Both of these wrestlers worked hard
and took some great knocks, delivered fantastic moves and counter moves and made
this a wrestling match. I am not an avid Morrison fan but he did a great job
against Punk. After the match, Miz appears with an ice pack on the side of his
face. The tag team champions don’t look very healthy right now and we go to
commercial break.
Long is in the ring to talk about Night of Champions and the
ECW Championship that will take place. It will be The Big Show, the challenger,
versus The Big Red Machine Kane, the WWE ECW Champion. I thought that this was
going to be a match but it appears it is going to be a face off which explains
why Punk and Morrison had such a long match (for a WWE ECW match). During their
face off, The World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry appears to tell them to calm
down because they will need their strength because Henry says if he isn’t
drafted Monday night, after Night of Champions, Henry will be coming after the
ECW title no matter who has it. Kane & Show team up to deliver a choke slam
to Henry before getting in each other’s face again.
