Several weeks ago, plans were officially announced for a special tribute show for the late James "Devil Bhudakahn" Fawcett, a well-respected fixture in Western Pennsylvania independent wrestling for nearly a decade, who passed away suddenly and tragically this past July at the age of 31. After much hard work and effort, we can indeed confirm further details on what is sure to be an emotional night of tribute and remembrance.

On Saturday night, March 8, 2008, family, friends, co-workers, pupils, and fans alike will gather together at the Carnegie Library (Their Athletic Club), 510 East Tenth Avenue, Munhall, Pennsylvania 15120 to show their love and appreciation for everything that James Fawcett gave to them both in and out of the ring. They'll express that love and appreciation by doing what they do best, something James Fawcett dedicated much of his life to, and what many of them dedicated their lives to right alongside him, professional wrestling. It will be a night to celebrate the life, the times, and the memories of a truly dedicated and special performer, peer, mentor, and most importantly, friend.

The full card for this special evening will be announced in the coming weeks, as many of the region's most talented and influential competitors, past and present, have agreed to come together for this very worthy cause. In addition to the in-ring action that evening, fans in attendance will have the chance to take part in several special raffles and auctions throughout the evening, with the opportunity to win a variety of great prizes, including items made exclusively for this event, as well as personalized memorabilia of various top wrestling stars.

Ticket prices are $15 for front row, $10 General Admission. All show and raffle proceeds will go directly toward James Fawcett's mother Cindy, and his three young daughters, Madeline, Gwendolyn, and Lillian Rose. Tickets will be made available starting January 1 via The Official Devil Bhudakahn Memorial Show MySpace Page at

We invite you all to stay posted for upcoming press releases as further updates on this show are made available, and to be a part of this special night in some form or fashion, as we honor our friend, say "thank you", and "goodbye".

Young Lions Title: Powerhouse Theo b Harry Hardshaw, Handicap Match: Bluey Bonza b Kid Dynamite & JT Robinson, AWF Australasian Title: TNT b Jay Law, Minto Street Fight: Steve Ravenous b Billy Flyswat, AWF Tag Titles: Surf Club b The Freakshow, Toxin b Nick Ferno, X-Pac b Mark Hilton

After his win over Harry Hardshaw, Powerhouse Theo was sneak attacked after the bout and left laying by rival Jay Law.

Bluey Bonza pulled out the impossible by defeating former Tag Team Champions JT Robinson and Kid Dynamite single handedly, when partner Chris X was unable to participate due to a hand injury.

In the AWF Title bout, TNT defeated Jay Law with help from Powerhouse Theo, when the referee was knocked down by Law, and Jay poised himself to drill TNT with the Championship belt, Theo entered and speared Law, leading to TNT delivering a flipping “Super Detonator” for the pin.

Steve Ravenous pinned Billy Flyswat in the Minto street fight with interference by Dynamite & JT. After the bout Ravenous challenged TNT for a bout at Blacktown on 19 January.

The originally planned Mixed Tag Bout was altered due to Bodacious Bo suffering a foot injury while surfing. In her absence, Surf Club were victorious over The Freakshow when the Surf’s pinned Massive Q with a Waxhead Shooting Star Press. During the bout Freakshow’s valet Alison Wonderland continuously interfered, which caused a female friend of the Surf Club to enter the ringside area and counter attack Alison to the fans approval, leading to Il Cognito being distracted and Q being double teamed and pinned. The volumptuous mystery female joined with the Surf Club to party and celebrate after the bout.

The popular X-Pac pinned AWF favourite Mark Hilton in an evenly fought main event with the X-Factor in an exciting fast paced bout.

Year End Extravaganza Central Coast, Sun 2 December, 2007

Rob “The Scientist” Best b Zander Bathory, Il Cognito & Massive Q b Billy Flyswat & Max Comic, Young Lions Title: Powerhouse Theo DDQ Jay Law, 3 Way: Steve Ravenous b Kid Dynamite & JT Robinson, AWF Tag Titles: Surf Club b Bluey Bonza & Harry Hardshaw, AWF Australasian Title: TNT b X-Pac

Rob Best scored his first victory pinning Zander Bathory in the opening bout.

The Theo Vs Law, Young Lion’s bout ended up getting out of control in the end with the referee for the event being pushed down by both men along with ring security getting involved, and bounced around also.

The Platinum Players 3 Way stipulation was announced that there would be no easy way out and that the winner would get an AWF Title shot. Steve Ravenous was victorious in the end, and put the other Players in their place afterwoods, and said he would take TNT’s title at Blacktown.

Bluey Bonza gained a title shot against The Surf Club as a result of beating JT Robinson and Kid Dynamite single handedly the night before in Minto. Harry Hardshaw entered just before the bell dressed as a Leprechaun and inserted himself as Bluey’s partner. Surf Club pinned Harry in the end and Bluey & Hardshaw brawled to the back.

TNT and X-Pac had an exciting back and forth main event, with TNT getting the pin when he countered the X-Factor and rolled over with a double leg hook pin and scored the win. After the bout X-Pac took the mic and said TNT is a great Champion and thanked fans for their support. TNT thanked X-Pac, and fans for their support of AWF.

FRI 18 JANUARY, 2008

The Australasian Wrestling Federation (AWF) makes its return to Fairy Meadow Fraternity Club to present “New Years Revolution” on Friday 18 January with a massive evening of pro-wrestling action to start the AWF year, featuring Australia’s top professional wrestlers.

The first AWF card for 2008 will showcase the best AWF has to offer in a variety of special feature bouts, making the event a massive 6 bout super card.

The main event will feature Australia’s number one wrestler, and Australasian Champion, TNT, battling the largest man in the AWF, the 200 cm, 165 kg, Massive Q.

TNT & Q were friends, until Massive Q turned his back on TNT recently, ambushing him after a bout, and joining forces with TNT nemesis Il Cognito to form “The Freakshow”. The two former friends will face off in heated singles action, in what will be Q’s first ever Australasian Championship shot, and TNT’s largest opponent to date. This is sure to be a massive explosion of a bout.

Tag team action will see the popular champions “The Surf Club” – Adam Hoffman and Scotty Club, take on “Platinum Players” combination of Steve Ravenous and JT Robinson. The Players combination of Robinson & Kid Dynamite where defeated by Surf Club for the Championships, so now the Platinum Players have shifted their team around to a more heavyweight style approach in an attempt to bring the belts back to their fold. We will see if this approach will be successful come the 18th.

Young Lion’s Champion Powerhouse Theo will have his hands full with the much larger “Butcher of Beruit” Lebo Ceda. The 192 cm Ceda missed his opportunity at the Young Lion’s Championship in December due to injury, but says he is ready to win the belt now and start 2008 strong. Theo says he is well prepared and ready for big Lebo, and will out power the larger outfit, and show why he is the true “Powerhouse” of the AWF.

In other exciting match ups, in a special NSW Vs Victoria contenders bout, Bluey Bonza

will engage Melbournes’s Krackerjack, “Ringmaster” Il Cognito will face the firey Nick Ferno, and “Platinum Player” Kid Dynamite will duel with funny man Max Comic.

“AWF New Years Revolution” is sure to be great evening packed with surprises galore, so if you are looking for a fun night out be sure to make it along and support the Australasian Wrestling Federation at Fairy Meadow Fraternity Club.

We advise to book early to avoid disappointment as recent AWF events have been turn away sell outs.

The Australasian Wrestling Federation (AWF) starts 2008 with a bang at Blacktown, presenting it’s “New Year’s Revolution” event. A huge evening of pro-wrestling action, featuring Australia’s top professional wrestlers is planned to kick off the wrestling year at Blacktown RSL, with bi monthly events to follow throughout 2008.

The first event at Blacktown for 2008 will showcase all AWF Championships being defended, and special feature bouts, to make the event a massive 6 bout super card.

The AWF Australasian Championship will be on the line, when TNT defends his title against major rival of 2007, “Platinum Player” Steve Ravenous.

TNT defeated Ravenous for the AWF Title on 6 January, 2007, and has remained champion throughout the year, defeating the world’s top independent wrestlers.

Ravenous has been building a streak of victories and facing the best talent in the world also, leading him to finally being granted a rematch, after losing the Championship one year ago.

During 2007 the TNT versus Platinum Players feud has escalated to this very match. At the October, 2007 Blacktown RSL event, the Players interrupted the TNT Vs Sabu AWF Championship match, causing mayhem, and a no contest in the main event, in which TNT wanted to defeat Sabu cleanly. TNT was further 3 on 1 sneak attacked at shows later that month, where he was aided by USA’s Raven to fight off his adversaries. Steve Ravenous was then pitted against his own team in December to gain the championship shot, and after victory, has rallied his team together stronger than ever with a focus of him bringing the AWF Title back around his waist. After all is said and done, it has now come down to Ravenous versus TNT – The Rematch, and this will surely be a heated contest, with the balance of power for 2008 in the balance. Be there to see who walks away Australasian Champion.

In another major grudge title match, the Young Lion’s Championship will be on the line, when Powerhouse Theo and Jay Law showdown one more time to attempt to settle their feud that has been raging for months. Both men have been interjecting each other into their adversary’s bouts, and in December even went to a wild no contest on the Central Coast. This bout will be very intense so fans should be ready for a real war.

In other exciting bouts as part of the big Blacktown line up, The Surf Club defend the AWF Tag Team Championships against Black Venum, Victorian wrestler Krackerjack comes to NSW to battle a NSW opponent, and to round out the card there will be a tag team contenders bout featuring The Freakshow taking on fan favourites Billy Flyswat and Chris X.

“AWF New Years Revolution” is sure to be great evening kickstarting the 2008 wrestling season, so if you are looking for a fun night out be sure to make it along and support the Australasian Wrestling Federation at Blacktown RSL.

Tommy Thunda quits?!

The B4W Christmas special taping was supposed to be a fun event. All parties involved agreed to film together without any incident (except for Jihad, who refused to film with anyone). However, once GPS filmed his scenes and heard a muttering from the Inner Circle, possibly about him losing the World title, he went off. He pushed Denver Street into TLD and he and Thunda got into a huge fist fight. The last scene had been shot, which is fortunate because Thunda's face was bruised badly. He walked off set and told the cameraman to call up the owner and let him know he put his notice in. From what I have been told, the Inner Circle members were provoking GPS the entire night, and he was merely sticking up for himself. Have we seen the last of Tommy Thunda in B4W? More than likely. B4W officials gave him several days to cool off but he remained firm on his decision and no longer wants anything to do with B4W, particularly GPS.

January 5th 2008 PlayBall Sports, 712 Ginesi Drive, Morganville New Jersey

A Battle Royal has been announced with the winner taking on the B4W World Champion at the end of the evening.

Reiko DMF Vs Super Sweet

Both men are currently 0-4 and need a win to get back into contension for any title. Super Sweet is the man who injured Reiko DMF's bodyguard, Richard P Guille, back in November, and you know he hasn't forgotten that. This match is a must win for both competitors.

GPS Vs Tommy Thunda

You read that correctly. Just a week after quitting B4W due to a fight with GPS, Tommy Thunda is returning to face him. Mr Wrestling 3 told B4W officials he will not grant GPS a rematch, nor will GPS be allowed in the Battle Royal that night, until he defeats every other member of the Inner Circle.

B4W Tag Team title match

No DQ Masks Vs titles

Inner Circle Vs El Americano/Kid America

This match will be no disqualifications and if Kid America and El Americano lose, they will never get another shot at the titles and will be forced to unmask.

B4W North American title match

Jihad Vs Ricky Landell

After Jihad malicious attacks of Landell's mentor and friend, Steve Corino, Landell is looking for some retribution in addition to some B4W gold.

B4W World title match

Winner of the Battle Royal Vs Mr Wrestling 3

Mr Wrestling 3 won the World title last month at Snowed In in cowardly fashion and aligned himself with the Inner Circle. Don't be suprised to see the Inner Circle in the Battle Royal trying to ensure an easy evening for the World Champion.

CW – Chaotic Wrestling

A chaotic night leads to controversy heading into 2008; Handsome Johnny addresses the locker room after winning the CW Heavyweight Title!

Last Friday night turned out to be a history-making evening for Chaotic Wrestling as Handsome Johnny defeated Bryan Logan in controversial fashion to capture the Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Title for the second time.

Earlier in the evening, Brian Milonas announced that his rematch for the CW Heavyweight Title comes at a time of his choosing - and he chose COLD FURY 7 on February 8th. Until that date, Milonas likened himself to Bryan Logan's "guardian angel", making sure that the title stays with Logan so he can take it from him at COLD FURY. Instead, in the main event, the Big Business member's actions inadvertently cost Bryan the title. With the referee knocked down, Handsome was lining up Logan to blast him with belt, but for the second time in as many shows in the Lowell - the lights went out. When they came back on, Brian Milonas was standing in the ring, belt in hand, waiting to hit Handsome and follow through on his oath. Bryan Logan didn't want the big man's help, however, and stopped him. As Logan dispatched of the monstrous Milonas, Johnny grabbed the title belt back and ended Bryan's title reign with one shot to the head.

Following the win, Handsome assigned a cameraman to follow him and document the start of his second CW Heavyweight Title reign. has obtained some footage released by The Handsome One as he made his way through the locker room at the PAV after the show.

CCW - Coastal Championship Wrestling

MVP Returns Home!  - December 22, 2007

Hardcore Holiday 2007 was an amazing night of wrestling action capped off by a special appearance of WWE Smackdown! Superstar and US Heavyweight Champion MVP. MVP, formerly known as Antonio Banks, came home for one special night to Coastal Championship Wrestling where he held the CCW Heavyweight Title until his departure for WWE just over two years ago. His mere presence thrilled the fans in attendance as he stood in the ring with the US Title draped over his shoulder and talked about his history with CCW and his journey to the top of the wrestling world with WWE.

The festivities were interrupted by CCW Commissioner Harry Venis. The former Mayor of Davie strolled to the ring, accompanied by a chorus of boos from the fans, and had with him a garbage can. Venis proceeded to spew all of the usual nonsense one would expect to hear from a sleazy politician then capped off his little speech by claiming he had a group of foreign investors ready to buy out MVP's WWE contract so he could come to work for him. He then made the mistake of insulting the history of the US Title by inviting MVP to throw it in the garbage can that he had brought to ringside.

Much to the delight of the fans, MVP opted to hold on to his title belt and then proceeded to throw Venis in the garbage can instead! The crowd then gave the champ a much deserved standing ovation as he made his exit.

Coastal Championship Wrestling would like to extend a huge thank you to MVP for being a part of Hardcore Holiday and to World Wrestling Entertainment for allowing him to do so.

CZW – Combat Zone Wrestling

Saturday, January 12th  - New Years Resolutions

Joker (Iron Man Champion) vs. Brain Damage (UVU Champion)

In what is nothing short of a dream match, returning CZW Iron Man Champion Joker will face Ultraviolent Underground Champ/Cyborg Brain Damage, and BOTH titles will be on the line!

At Cage of Death, Brain Damage and his team were defeated, but the UVU Champ wasn’t pinned. In fact, since re-entering CZW, the indestructible Brain Damage has yet to suffer defeat by virtue of a pinfall in the middle of the ring. Of course, this will be the first time that Brain Damage will go to the ring without the assistance of his former manager, Maven Bentley.

Normally, Maven would have his hands all over this contest, but now that he’s been driven from the Combat Zone, the cyborg Champion is on his own. Can Brain Damage experience the same success without the assistance of his former handler? That remains to be seen, but surely an opportunity at the prestigious Iron Man Title is enough to motivate any man (or machine) to bring his best to South Philly.

Then there’s CZW’s resident soldier and BLKOUT's own Best of the Best Champ, and defending Iron Man Champion, Joker. Among his accomplishments since his return in July: defeating Drake Younger and B-Boy to win the BOTB trophy, and demolishing DJ Hyde to win Iron Man gold. In January though, the strong-style specialist will face his most dangerous task yet (outside of Iraq) when he challenges Brain Damage for the UVU Championship.

On January 12th, both competitors will be put to the ultimate test, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. Will the Ultraviolent Underground Champ once again prove to be too much for mortal man to pin? Can Joker once again rise to the occasion and walk out with yet another prestigious piece of CZW gold? We’ll find out when two of CZW’s heaviest hitters duke it out on January 12th at the New Alhambra.

WHACKS takes on DJ Hyde

CZW fans will be in for yet another hard-hitting slugfest on January 12th. Two men who's careers

seem to be headed in opposite directions will lock up with momentum on the line when DJ Hyde meets WHACKS.

It's been a rough couple of months for the one-time pride of the MBA, DJ Hyde. In November, the big man lost his cherished Iron Man Title to Joker, and just a week ago, the mastodon's tumble off the top of the Cage of Death at the hands of his long-time rival Danny Havoc capped a crushing defeat for the MBA.

There's two things DJ Hyde likes to do for fun. One is hurting people, and the other is angering the CZW fans. Lately, he hasn't been able to do either. On January 12th, "the Lariat" will look to get back on track and do both of his favorite things when he faces the up and coming Whacks.

Things couldn't be going better for WHACKS right now. His courageous transformation from photographer to wrestler has made him an Ultraviolent inspiration to the CZW fans. At Cage of Death, WHACKS proved that he bleeds black and yellow, risking his life while dangling from the rafters of the New Alhambra Arena to put an exclamation point on his victory in a brutal Tables match. Now a full time member of the Combat Zone roster, WHACKS will look to continue his rise in the ranks when he represents the fans against the hated DJ Hyde.

Sexxxy Eddie explains himself...and brings in Mickie Knuckles

The following comments come directly from Sexxxy Eddie and do not reflect the views of CZW:

"I've been told by CZW management to explain my recent actions costing my "dearly beloved" LuFisto her chance at winning the highly coveted Jr. Heavyweight title at Cage Of Death 9.

Let's go back to 2006, The Missionaries Of Violence debut in CZW only to lose their one and only match together. Rather than push on (in and out of the ring) as a cohesive team, LuFisto thought it be better to strengthen our skills as singles wrestlers. Soon after, I did win the Jr. Heavyweight title from Niles Young. But she had to one-up me and capture the Ironman title from "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen, not only that but also being the first woman in CZW history to win a title! I was then forgotten in the shuffle, and everyone wanted to see the "Ironwoman" champion.

Fast-forward to COD; before she could overshadow my return and yet again accomplish the impossible, I had to break that ego down! Hell, I brought that bitch in, and I'll be the one to take her out! As for her interfering in my match, she had no business. If it's revenge she wants, she is playing a game with the wrong man. Honey, you need balls if you want to go far in a man's world. She cost me my return victory at the biggest show of the year! I want to be 100% to kick that #@#&'s ass, so I will not be there in January. In my place, I have sent none other than one of IWA Mid-South's hardest-hitters to soften her up, a REAL woman and the best out there: Mickie Knuckles!

I will finish what I started as my 2008 New Year's resolution: rip out your heart, and leave you broken on the outside and on the inside. You can break my heart (it's been done before), but don't %$#@ with me, cause Lufy I always end up on top... you should know, in more ways than one!"

Player Uno and Stupefied, collectively known as the Super Smash Bros., will make their CZW Tag Team debut against the "lighthearted" duo of Beef Wellington and Greg Excellent!

After-party returns to Crazy Horse Too in January!

CZW is pleased (very pleased) to announce that the official afterparty of Combat Zone Wrestling will return to CRAZY HORSE TOO. The party goes till 2am, and admission is free with your CZW ticket. The festivities being immediately following the completion of January 12th's New Year's Resolution's event

Last month, the Crazy Horse was packed. CZW stars including Danny Havoc, Drake Younger and John Zandig himself partied late into the night with the CZW fans and the hottest dancers in all of South Philadelphia. There's no telling who will show up in January, so make sure you stop in and celebrate New Year's Resolutions... CZW STYLE!

Defiant Pro Wrestling

Defiant Pro Wrestling presented Dark Tidings on December 15 in front of a crowd of around 60 or so fans, almost all of whom were grateful the doors opened earlier than usual. Fans were a mix of regulars or longtime Connecticut wrestling fans alongside folks who seemed new to the sport, all of whom seemed thirsty for action.

Malice versus BMT: Malice returned to DPW, and seemed to take his name seriously, as he jawed excessively with the fans before entering the ring. Brandon Michael Thomas came to the ring with the lovely Defiant Diva champion Arial, to a mostly positive reaction (some fans couldn’t help but start the “Big Man’s Toy” chant). As one would expect, the two young aerialist took to the sky for most of their match, with Malice seeming just a bit more powerful, and BMT seeming just a bit quicker. That speed ended up serving Thomas well-After a Brian Pillman-like springboard clothesline, BMT took to the top rope and hit a 450 splash to score the pin in an exciting and competitive opener.

DPW Owner Mike E. Millano then came to the ring, and thanked the fans for both coming out that Saturday and for their support in the 25 (!) previous shows in the past 12 months. Mike then announced that there is scheduled to be another 30 shows for 2008, and mentioned the possibility of Defiant Pro Wrestling bringing it’s unique take on the sport to other towns, such as Naugatuck, Fairfield and other towns in the state of Connecticut. Of course, hearing good news led to former DPW announcer J.J. Alexander to be a giant black cloud over it, and he delivered a bombshell-in a stipulation on the contract of the previous shows Justin Credible/Chris Mooch match (in which Credible cheated to beat Mooch), Alexander was now the DPW commissioner! A shocked Milano re-read the contract and accepted the result, but then had a surprise for the new commish-Mike will be the ref in the Television title match later tonight between Credible and champion Jason Fucken’ Knight! The two former friends stared each other down before Milano left for the locker room. It seems as though neither man has any plans to make the next 12 months easy for the other.

“The 20-Year Old Virgin” William King vs. Sevin Leonard & Puerto Rican Hound Dogg. The young and virtuous Mr. King greeted fans at ringside. The elevated mood was quickly dashed by the less-than-congenial Jimmy Meaz, who immediately disrespected anyone within earshot, as fans chanted “PORC-U-PINE!!” in response. After around of insults, Meaz announced King’s opponent: “The Rock Superstar” Sevin Leonard! After King seemed to complain that he had faced Leonard only last month, Meaz apparently decided to make the bout a handicap match, as the brutal Puerto Rican Hound Dogg came out! The two quickly attack the Virgin, only to be befuddled! Even though Leonard and Dogg did eventually control the match, King should a great deal of moxy, enduring the beating the two gave him and getting shots of his own in! King hung in long enough to send Dogg tumbling into Meaz on the floor and scoring the pin on Leonard with a unique Fireman’s Carry variation! The three rulebreakers, obviously upset and embarrassed, argued with each other on their way to the locker room as King got a good ovation!

Dave Cole vs. J-Busta: Fans got a nice gift before the holidays, as the longtime Canadian Superstar partners found themselves in opposite corners! Cole, who essentially broke the team up last month by deserting and attacking Busta, got showered with boos as Busta was roundly cheered! The two put on an excellent contest, trading super-fast, complex holds and moves on each other, with neither able to establish a clear advantage, even after a tope by Busta that tore the roof off and a DDT onto the outside area by Cole! The two gave it everything they had, but Cole couldn’t help but mar the contest, scoring the win with a Victory Roll as he grabbed Busta’s tights. While both men were exhausted, Cole had enough in the tank to make a hasty exit as Busta argued with the ref over the win!

The Alumni Club vs. Affirmative Action for the DPW tag team titles. The Club, wearing turn-of-the-previous century football uniforms, came out to a good response. AA came out to fans chanting “SAL-TINE CRACK-ER” to manager MT Cracka, as the tag team champs were roundly jeered! The early part of the match was almost all Alumni Club, as Torres and Valentino used athletic skill and precision teamwork to overwhelm Affirmative Action members DeSade and Ocean! As is often the case with the AA, one member distracted the ref, and the others then proceeded to do a gangland-style beatdown on the opponent, as poor Torres soon found four men punching and kicking him! Ocean and DeSade took control after the interference and came close to scoring the win, but Torres hung in their long enough to tag off to Valentino and help regain control of the match for the Club! When it looked like Torres and Valentino would finally win the elusive DPW Tag titles, Ocean came in the ring and hit Valentino with one of the belts in full view of the referee, losing the match by disqualification for his team but retaining the titles for the second straight card! DeSade, Ocean, Cracka, Johnny Ramirez and new member Akeem Rashad attacking the Club and the ref! After sustaining a brutal beating, who makes the save but longtime Club enemies the Dredded Gunns! All of the AA cleared out save for Rashad, who was too busy jawing at his fallen foes to notice the two giants coming at him! For a change, Affirmative Action watched one their own members get the beatdown as they simply watched and carried their colleague to the back when Pat Gunner and Bull Dredd ejected him! Even more surprisingly, Gunner and Dredd shook the hands of Torres and Valentino after the carnage!

Justin Credible versus Jason Knight for the DPW TV title (special referee Mike E. Milano). Knight seemed all too willing to get his hands on his former friend and Impact Players partner, and almost completely dominated the match, brawling heavily with Credible in and out of the ring! Jason would have complete blown out Credible if not for the outside interference of JJ Alexander, who grabbed Knight’s leg as Knight bounced off the ropes, distracting him long enough for Credible to hit him with a picture perfect Superkick! He went for the pin, and Milano made a slow, reluctant two-count before giving Credible a one-finger salute! Credible and Milano then argued, giving Knight enough time to hit his former partner with an Enzigirni and scoring the win! After the match, Credible got verbally chastised by Knight, who told him he should reconsider his allegiances!

A quick intermission, with many of the wrestlers greeting the fans and a raffle being announced followed.

Mikaze vs. Nocturne vs. Frankie Arion for the DPW Cruiserweight title. Mikaze, once beloved by the DPW faithful, got a round of boos, as his manager Paulie J was on the receiving end of the “HAPPY FEET!” chant. Both Noc and the Cruiser champ, favorites of the fans, got mixed if positive responses. The two crowd favorites teamed to attack their longtime rival and former friend, but soon found themselves attacking each other, as Nocturne made it clear not long before that he badly hungers for title gold. The action was amazingly fast and furious, The animosity between the three became more and more obvious as the hitting got harder and harder, with many near falls! After over 15 minutes of mayhem, Noc seemed to have the title in the bag with a package piledriver on Arion, only to have Mikaze slip in with a crucifix pin on him! Mikaze sneaked his way to his third DPW Cruiserweight belt, to the complete dismay of Noc, Frankie and the audience! Arion, whose amazing title reign ended despite not being pinned or tapping out, uncharacteristically kicked the ringside steps in fury after the match.

Johnny Ramirez versus Ariel. Ramirez came to the ring with his manager MT Cracka and the fans chanting “DIE-GO!” to the young Affirmative Action member. Ariel came out with BMT and to a HUGE ovation, one of the loudest of the night! She needed the support-Ramirez dominated the match, unchivalously punching and kicking the Portuguese Princess with no shame. He apparently felt TOO at ease, as he let down his guard long enough for the Defiant Divas champ to lock him into the Cattle Mutilation! Ramirez looked like he may tap to the champ until Cracka came on the ring apron and distracted the ref! Taking no chances, BMT immediately went to the ropes and hit a plancha on the young manager! This, however, distracted the ref, allowing Ramirez to take a Diego doll from ringside fan! He swung it at Ariel! She ducks it, kicks Ramirez in the gut, and clocks him with his doppleganger with a sickening thud upside his skull! The ref then turned and made the pin for Arial to the crowd’s delight!

Slyck Wagner Brown vs. Ron Zombie vs. Justin Credible. JJ Alexander didn’t waste much time in making his first proclamation as DPW commissioner, as he replaced Tony DeVito in this #1 contender’s match with his charge. The three men, no strangers to each other, battled intensely, Credible looked surprisingly sharp for a man who wrestled a tough match earlier, and dictated the early part of the 3-Way Dance. Later in the bout, Slyck’s athleticism ruled over, as both Zombie and Credible found it increasing difficult to even get a hold of him! Finally, Credible managed to sneak in another jarring Superkick to the former DPW champ after Brown was distracted by Alexander. Instead of going for the pin, however, Credible taunted Brown, leading to Zombie hitting Justin with a devastating DDT and gaining the win and #1 contender’s status! The crowd went nuts as Alexander, realizing his man lost two title opportunities in the same night, sulked off!

The Dredded Gunns vs. Lenn Oddity & “A Mystery Partner”. Fans were QUITE divided on this one, as the still-beloved Gunns still were honored by many of the DPW faithful and the perennially popular Oddity (dressed as a Psychotic Santa) came out to a loud ovation as well. Oddity announced his partner, complete DPW newcomer Sledge, giving the already unpredictable Oddity even more tricks up his sleeve. Unfortunately for him, it didn’t work-it became quite clear that the Junior Juggalo was just too badly outmatched power-wise to stop the Gunns. Fortunately, his partner was a man of similar size to the huge Pat Gunner, and showed flairs of athleticism as well, even scoring on a tope late in the match! When it seemed as though he and Oddity were on their way to victory, Lenn accidentally hit Sledge in the eyes with his green mist, incapacitating his partner and setting up Oddity for the Loaded Gunn clothesline! After the Gunns celebrated their victory and headed to the back, Sledge turned on his partner, powerbombing him and brining in a barbed wire wrapped chair to the ring! Once again, the Gunns shocked everyone by defending their fallen foe, with manager Ryan Coxx seemingly resurrecting the downed Oddity and embracing him along with Gunner and Dredd!

Chris Mooch versus Big Jim Sullivan for the DPW Heavyweight title. Mooch got a great pop from the crowd and seemed completely in the moment! The despised Sullivan grabbed the mic almost immediately and asked Mooch to leave, telling him that if he didn’t leave, he was going to powerbomb Mooch through a burning table as he did Oddity only last month! Mooch was defiant, and managed to take the fight to Sullivan, at least at first, beating down Sullivan with both brawling tactics and his patented “Mooch-plexes”! Unfortunately for him, a distraction from Sullivan’s manager Paulie J lead Mooch into a superhumanly vicious lariat! Mooch was completely knocked out, but Sullivan refused to make the cover! Instead, he got Mooch on his feet, and delivered another horrifying lariat! The referee declared Sullivan the winner, fearing permanent injury to the young former TV champion! Sullivan still refused, to relent, and Paulie J grabbed a roll of paper towels, indicating he was going for the burning lariat! Milano came out and demanded Sullivan and Paulie stop, and ordered security to break it up, to no avail! Milano then decided to grant number one contender Ron Zombie a title match right then and there! Zombie came out and immediately went to town on Sullivan, beginning a brutal brawl that went all over the Proving Grounds dojo! Zombie seemed to gain the upper hand and looked to be heading for his first DPW championship, only for Justin Credible to interfere with his Singapore Cane! Sullivan quickly took advantage and caught Zombie with the lariat for the win!

After the match, former allies Credible and Milano began to chastise each other, leading Milano to spit in the face of Credible and Credible to whack Milano with the cane off his head! Credible had boos rain down on him as he left Milano to try to regain consciousness!

Overall, the last DPW show of the year was one of its best, with huge amounts of action and drama! I can only hope the next 12 months

F-1PW - Force-1 Pro Wrestling

Force One Pro Wrestling presents its next event, called "Badge of Honor" on Saturday, January 5, 2008, at Hamilton Hall on Philadelphia Avenue in Egg Harbor City, NJ.  Doors open at 7 pm, with a 7:30 pm bell time.  Here's a quick rundown of the card.

Force One Heavyweight champion "Bad Boy" Danny Pagan defends his heavyweight championship belt against the number one challenger, Patch, along with his manager JADEN.

Junior Heavyweight champion Diego DiMarco along with his manager Millionaire Ted Jr. finds himself in a rematch for the belt against indy superstar Judas Young. (As seen on Monday Night Raw)

A 15 minute time limit draw was reached with no winner at the last show "Full Force", so Commissioner Tommy Cairo has ordered a rematch between "Hot Shot" Mike Reed, and "The Midnight Idol" Nicky Benz.  The match will not end until a winner is announced.

Latin star Panther takes on "The Sure Thing" Ryan Wing.

In a USA vs. Canada match, former Force One Pro Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Champion The White Lotus takes on "The Canadian Shooter" Tommy Force with manager JADEN

The Force One fans were shocked at the last show when teammates Ryu Lee & Razor Rivera lost to High Impact, due to interference from Millionaire Ted Jr.  They were more stunned when Razor Rivera turned on his partner & attacked him, leaving him brutally beaten in the ring.  Ryu has demanded a match against his former tag partner, which has been granted by Cairo.

The 4 way between Force One Superstars that was scheduled to  take place that evening to decide who is next in line to challenge for the Heavyweight Championship has changed, with the departure of The Equalizer.  Commissioner Tommy Cairo has sanctioned a match between ECW Original The Rockin' Rebel and former ECW/WWE/TNA star Danny Doring, who is making his debut in Force One, to decide who is the number one contender.

Also appearing that evening:  "The Hybrid" Josh Adams, The Lovely Jennifer Lynn, Manager "The Ultimate Studd" Jimmy Clydesdale,  High Impact, referees Mike Walker and Just Johnny, Commissioner Tommy Cairo, ring announcer Phil Varlese, and the staff of Force One.  Tickets are only $10, and are available at the door, or by calling 732-604-9927.

this event.

Now on to the announced matches:

IWA Mid-South World Heavyweight Title Match

"Last of a Dying Breed" Eddie Kingston vs. Too Cold Scorpio

Eddie Kingston had just won the IWA Mid-South World Heavyweight Title by outlasting Chris Hero, Chuck Taylor and Mike Quackenbush in a 4 way elimination match on Ian Rotten's Retirement Show when the first man into the ring to congratulate him was Too Cold Scorpio. The lovefest was short lived however as the Too Cold Scorpio quickly used the opportunity to become the first one to issue a challenge to the new champion for a title shot. Eddie Kingston showed what kind of a fighting champion he would be when he accepted the challenge saying that it would be an honor to be in the same ring with Scorpio and an even bigger honor to defeat him!

Fans Requested Tag Team Warfare

LuFisto & Mickie Knuckles vs. Vulgar Display of Power

After LuFisto defeated Mickie Knuckles for the 2007 Queen of the Death Match title, the fans in attendance voiced their opinion that they wanted to see the 2007 Queen team with the 2006 Queen of the Death Matches. They not only wanted them to team, they wanted them to take on the 2007 Double Death Tag Team Death Match champions BrainDamage & Deranged. While the match will not take place in Plainfield, Indiana, Ian Rotten still heard them loud and clear and will be giving the fans the match at the 500th Show in Joliet, Illinois. LuFisto and Mickie have a lot of naysayers that think they shouldn't be in the ring with the VDOP. They will be fighting not only two of the toughest men in wrestling but also the stereotypes and prejudices against them from the fans that think that women can't be as tough as the men. Will the naysayers be proven right or will it be a stand up and take notice event to remember for all involved?

IWA Strong Style Title - 4 Way Elimination - Knockout or Submission Only

Drake Younger vs. Roderick Strong vs. Michael Elgin vs. Viking

IWA will be forming a new title for the strong style guys to fight for and this will be 4 great competitors to vie to become the first ever IWA Mid-South Strong Style Champion. Fans have been asking for IWS' Viking to make his debut in IWA Mid-South and he will...but he will have his hands full when he has to take on Drake, Roderick and Elgin. Who can survive this ultimate fight to the finish when only knockout or submission can eliminate your opponents?

I Quit Match: Jimmy Jacobs vs. "Serial Killer" Jack Thriller

Thriller has forced Jimmy to tap out two times to the figure four leglock in their two previous matches of late in IWA Mid-South. Jimmy Jacobs is embarrassed and pissed off that he can't defeat the "Serial Killer" and now he wants to prove that his knee injury is healed enough for him to start to return the favor on Thriller.

Much more will be added to this lineup in the coming months as we intend to come out of hiatus with a huge bang.

Be there to join us as we celebrate this historic occassion of an independent wrestling company holding its 500th show!

Jersey All Pro Wrestling

After closing out our 10th year on a high note in front of over 800 fans at Season's Beatings 2007, What better way to start off 2008 than for JAPW to return to the place where it all began: Beautiful Hudson County, NJ.

JAPW gets the New Year off with a bang as we proudly present "RECLAIMING HUDSON" at the Golden Door Charter School, 180 9th St, In Jersey City, NJ, just minutes away from The PATH Train and the NJ Transit Light Rail.

Tickets are now on sale at, and will be on sale at the door the night of the show. General admission is just $15.  1st row ringside is already sold out, but 2nd Row ringside is just $20, and 3rd Row is $15, but get your ringside tickets now as they WILL sell out.

JAPW World Champion Low Ki will defend his Championship against one of the only men to pin his shoulders to the mat in 2007, the Latin Monster that many say can't be stopped-TNA Superstar and co-holder of the JAPW Tag Team Titles, LAX member Hernandez! After dominating just about everyone that he has faced over the last 3 years in JAPW, Low-Ki is considered by many to be the underdog against Hernandez. Could fans in Jersey City see a new champion crowned, or will Low-Ki find a way to win, no matter what it takes?

After the incredible 3 way match at Season's Beatings that saw the LAX retain their Tag Team Titles in their toughest battle yet, Hernandez is getting his World Title Match, But his LAX partner, TNA Superstar- "The "Notorious 187" Homicide is not taking the night off, as Homicide has requested a 3 way match against 2 of his most bitter enemies: Teddy Hart and Eddie Kingston!

Since Hart's controversial return to JAPW at the 10th Anniversary show, no one has been able to predict what Teddy Hart's next move will be except for the fact that he does not seem to just be satisfied with just costing Homicide the JAPW World Title, he seems bent on destroying all that Homicide cares for!

Eddie Kingston has an axe to grind not only with Homicide, but with Teddy Hart as well. He sees Homicide as the "Old Guard" in JAPW that were "holding him down", and Hart as the man who swooped in and interjected himself into what Kingston saw as his time to take the spotlight.

Any way you look at it, enough fuel has been dumped on this fire to make this match explode and prove why Jersey All Pro Wrestling delivers when it says: "We Guarantee Excitement!"

"Money! Money! Yeah! Yeah!"- Remember those words, as you are sure to hear all the fans in attendance hollering that night as former WWE Superstars Cryme Tyme returns to JAPW and make their debuts in Dirty Jersey!

The Grim Reefer will receive his rematch for the NJ State title against the man that defeated him for that belt - Archadia! Archadia's new attitude has certainly put some extra checks in the win column, even if the rules were broken to get those wins. After Archadia's interference cost Reefer a win at Season's Beatings, Reefer is set to get his revenge, and the NJ State title back.

What would A JAPW Event in Jersey City, NJ without TNA Superstar Jay Lethal as he takes on a man that is quickly building a cult following in JAPW, Chris Hero. After "going back to his Roots" at Season's Beatings, will the man who is sometimes known as "Black Machismo" keep it "real" or will the "madness" take over once again? Either way, Lethal better be at his best against Hero, who is hungry for a win after his loss last month to AJ Styles.

After the 5 star match that opened the show at Season's Beatings, JAPW management was quick to sign a rematch between TNA Superstar Sonjay Dutt & Xavier. Both men pulled out all the stops in their first match that narrowly saw Dutt get the win. Xavier is looking to even up the score and make the highflying "Playa from the Himalayas" crash back down to earth.

Up and coming light heavyweight Bandito Jr. will face off with "The Suicidal Demon" Azriael in a match that could very well steal the show!

The undefeated Tag Team of Monsta Mack & Havok will battle BLKOut Members SWB & Sabian in Tag team action. Mack and Havok have destroyed everyone that have crossed their paths so far, but they have never faced a team like BLKOut before...Will the train come off the tracks in Jersey City?

"Dangerous" Devon Storm looks to live up to his nickname as he steps back into the ring against his opponent from the 10th anniversary show- Danny Demanto. Storm and Demanto have both shown that "going hardcore" is something that neither man is afraid to do, and we can be certain that this match will be no different. Demanto is looking to avenge his loss against the veteran Storm.

LWL Christmas Conflict - Tuesday 18th December 2007

Time: 7:30pm, Attendance: 58, Price: Adults £5, Kids £3.

Legends Members Club, Oxley Street, Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV1 1QN.

Motor Mouth Mike is your Ring Announcer for this evening.

Mat Mensa addresses the LWL Fans……

Mensa first thanks the crowd for their support, then he asks the question that has been on everyone’s lips since last month ‘Why Maxx?’ before he can get an answer to that question Mr Valentino & Matt Vaughn interrupt. Valentino calls Mensa’s win against Vaughn a fluke and spouts off that Mensa isn’t a worthy LWL Champion. Valentino & Vaughn attack Mensa until Mad Dog Maxx makes his way to the ring, after a few moments of hesitation Maxx attacks Vaughn & Valentino! Maxx then talks of how he & Mensa are from the same town and street and the two shake hands.

My Thoughts: That was a good way to start the show, questions needed to be answered after Maxx and Mensa shared a staredown last month. What was on Maxx’s agenda? We now know he wants the LWL Title but he also showed a great deal of respect for Mensa. More questions have arisen out of this alliance, the old saying “Keep your friends close but your enemies closer” maybe something for Mensa to keep an eye on.

LWL National Pride Championship: ‘Metro-Sexual’ Danny Devine vs. Dan Ryder ©

The fans get behind Ryder from the start with chants of “Ryder, Ryder”. Ryder responds by reversing into a hip-toss and quickly hitting a Japanese Arm-drag. Ryder follows up with a lucha throw but unhappy at the execution starts a “You F***** up” chant of his own! With Devine on the outside Ryder sees an opportunity to be crazy (which of course he takes) but Devine is too quick and moves out of the way as Ryder cannonballs towards him. Devine dropkicks Ryder’s back before calling for Devine-Time, Ryder reverses out into the Michinoku Driver for a two count. Ryder with the momentum power-slams Devine and quickly hits his patented 450 Splash for the three count.

Match Time: 11 minutes: Winner and STILL LWL National Pride Champion: Dan Ryder

My Thoughts: That was a good match, I felt Ryder was a little harsh on himself starting the “You f***** up” chant as the lucha throw didn’t seem like a mistake. Both competitors put forth good performances in a back and forth match which was just what you look for in an opening match. After watching the match I personally thought that the booker had said “Go and have a good match nothing more and nothing less“ which stopped this match from being great. As with a less restricted time limit Ryder vs. Devine normally equals match of the night but alas it wasn’t to be on this occasion.

‘Mr #1’ Jonny Costello & Platinum Paige vs. ‘Sik’ Nik Dutt & Caiman

As one fan claps Costello points out “Clapping on your own is very embarrassing” so more fans join in. Costello wins the lockup but as Paige holds Dutt he smacks Paige by mistake. He apologises and strokes Paige’s hair and face, with Paige tagged in the same happens again this time Paige pulls back but Dutt dropkicks him into Costello. Dutt arm-ringers Paige and whilst in a wrist-lock tags in Caiman, who enters via and axe handle off the top rope. The fans chant “Nik, Nik” with Dutt and Costello exchanging tags to Caiman & Paige respectively. Clotheslines knock Paige and Costello down a funny moment as Costello trips over his flag! A big boot follows but Paige breaks up the pinfall. Caiman connects with his swinging rock bottom and then with a rock launcher on Dutt the Dutt/Caiman team pick up the victory.

Match Time: 11 minutes: Winners: ‘Sik’ Nik Dutt & Caiman

My Thoughts: Good follow up match to Ryder & Devine. All four men had time to shine and they did as a good tag match progressed. Caiman/Dutt looked like veteran tag partners who had been tagging for years when in reality this was their first match as a team. Costello and Paige brought the old school cheating and comedy to the match with all these elements a good match was seen by the LWL fans.

John Sotello (Jonny Costello) addresses the crowd………….

“I had cancer, before I didn’t want to say it but unfortunately it might be back. I’m 100% dedicated to Professional Wrestling! I didn’t want sympathy, believe me when I say every time I’m in this ring I give you 100%. Thanks for treating me like s***, I like that! Thank you very much and I’ll see you next time” The fans clap and cheer loudly as Sotello leaves.

Best of luck with your battle John, here’s hoping you win and your back in a Wrestling ring sooner rather than later!

Sykes vs. Kris Navarro 2

Sykes attacks Navarro before the bell “Did you hear a bell?” he shouts at the referee. Sykes clubs Navarro with some vicious forearms as the assault continues, “Mom’s a f****** slag” he shouts at a fan. Navarro fires back and whilst in the ascendancy Sykes takes a breather, “You’re a chicken” chant starts up. Sykes grabs Navarro’s leg and bends and twists it in the ropes before RIPPING Navarro’s knee pad right off! “You cheer for this?” he taunts the crowd. Navarro fights back with a Crucifix for a two count, “Starting to piss me off” Sykes bellows. “There’s my F-U” as Sykes proceeds to spit water on the fans once more. Two over zealous fans jump in the ring and attack Sykes leading to the Disqualification.

Aftermath: It was a setup as the two ‘fans’ are Real Deal Wrestling’s Havok and Lee Chaos! Carnage, Joey Syxx & Chandler Scott Lee interrupt as RDW are beating down Navarro. “Told you not to mess with me you Ginger tosser!” directed at LWL Promoter Matt Stark. “RDW is where the big boys play, we are future legends”. Carnage, Syxx & CSL help Navarro to his feet and to the back.

Match Time: 11 minutes: Winner: Sykes by Disqualification through interference.

My Thoughts: WOW that was intense! Unlike Sykes vs. Navarro 1 which was a wrestling clinic, this was a straight up fight. Sykes and Navarro didn’t hold anything back as they fought for the win, Sykes’s new toned up attitude makes him even more dangerous than he was before (I didn’t think that was possible). Navarro showed why he is the rising star in LWL by putting forth an incredibly resilient performance. The ending of the match completely got me as I thought it was legit! I have heard much good press about Chaos and Havok so I’m intrigued at how they will do when wrestling in front of my eyes. With no definitive winner in this match I see Sykes vs. Navarro 3 happening in the future and I for one CAN’T wait! LONG may this feud continue……..

Respect Match: ‘New Age’ Kristian Lees vs. Carnage

Lees applies the wrist-lock and taunts Carnage saying “I’ll teach you some respect”, that allows Carnage to reverse the hold before Lees reverses once more. Carnage leg trips Lees and applies the head-lock before transitioning into a hammer-lock. Lees elbows out but Carnage holds on before low bridging Lees over the top rope and to the floor. The fans clap and chant “Chicken, Chicken” at Lees, Lees leaves but Carnage drags him back out. Carnage pulls Lees top over his head and connects with a vicious chop, a lariat and belly to belly suplex follow as Carnage takes control of the match. Carnage climbs the turnbuckle a fan shouts “450” to which Carnage replies “I wish!” instead Carnage hits a slingshot splash for a two count. Lees is able to rally and attempts to jump off onto Carnage, Carnage skilfully reverses into a Carnage-Bolt for the three count.

Match Time: 4 minutes: Winner: Carnage

My Thoughts: Good for the four minutes given. Four minutes is not a fair amount of time for a person making their in ring debut, but with that being said Lees looked competitive against the veteran Carnage. So with that I guess you can say job done, I’d like to see Lees in a longer match next time around, Carnage put forth a good performance for the time allowed.

Matt Vaughn & Mr Valentino vs. Mat Mensa & Mad Dog Maxx

Maxx & Mensa knock down Vaughn and Valentino with throat chops, more throat chops down Vaughn. Valentino uses “He’s a big boy he can handle himself” as his excuse for not coming to Vaughn’s aid. The double team continues on Vaughn and when Valentino interrupts he gets chopped for his troubles, “That one hurt” he screams. Maxx continues the assault with an eye scrape on Valentino, “Mad Dog” chant starts up from the LWL fans. Maxx drops Vaughn before chopping Valentino “I love you Mad Dog” Mensa says before kissing Maxx’s head! A double lariat follows on Valentino, after knocking down Vaughn a Doomsday Device connects and with that Mensa and Maxx are the winners.

Match Time: 12 minutes: Winners: Mat Mensa & Mad Dog Maxx

My Thoughts: Another good match on a card full of them. Mensa & Maxx co-existed incredibly well, if I was going to compare their situation I would to that of Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels when they were forced to fight against the Hart Foundation in 1997. Everything is just fine right now as it was for Austin and Michaels but Maxx wants LWL gold and Mensa holds it. So I can see this being a partnership of connivance before the future LWL Title showdown between the two competitors. I’m not forgetting Vaughn and Valentino who looked like a pretty good tag team in their own right, looking competitive even in losing. If this is the start of an LWL Tag Division there are already 3 or 4 teams to work with and it could be good for the company.

Main Event: LWL Christmas Cracker Rumble for £500 Check

TGR W/The Boss vs. Joey Syxx vs. The Gentleman Gigalo vs. ’Male Model’ Tommy White vs. Caiman vs. Kristian Lees vs. Carnage vs. G-Force vs. ’Metro-Sexual’ Danny Devine vs. LWL Dragon vs. DR X vs. DR Y vs. Kris Navarro vs. ‘Sik‘ Nik Dutt vs. Dan Ryder vs. Chandler Scott Lee vs. Sykes vs. Havok vs. Lee Chaos vs. Platinum Paige

TGR is eliminated by Syxx, Gigalo is eliminated by White, Syxx eliminates Caiman, Syxx eliminates White, Lees is eliminated by Carnage, Navarro eliminates LWL Dragon, Ref Primetime and Paige are eliminated by Sykes, CSL, Dr X and Dr Y are eliminated shortly after, G-Force is thrown out onto Dr X and Y, Ryder and Carnage are also eliminated. It’s down to 3 on 3 (Syxx, Navarro & Dutt vs. Sykes, Chaos & Havok). Sykes eliminates Navarro, Chaos and Havok forget about Rumble and concentrate on finishing off Navarro and Syxx! Sykes and Dutt are left one on one, with Sykes in control. Dutt fights back as the crowd explode! Sykes gains control once more “Who wants him?” but this allows Dutt to connect with a dropkick and Enzuguri to eliminate Sykes and WIN the Christmas Rumble! It looks like RDW vs. Dutt until Syxx & Navarro even up the odds with chairs. RDW leave before Sykes threatens Stark once more “RDW vs. LWL in January elimination tag, book it!” “You (while pointing at Navarro) I’m going to break your frigging neck!”.

Match Time: 26 minutes: Winner: ‘Sik’ Nik Dutt

My Thoughts: Well like all Rumbles this was a blink and you might miss it event. Chaotic would be a good way to sum it up, good to see G-Force (aka Geraden) make his debut in an LWL ring. I hope that is a regular occurrence for the young and comer. A lot of the near eliminations looked like they were suppose to be eliminations so that was a little sloppy. When it was down to 3 vs. 3 the Rumble improved tremendously! The main stories to come out of the Rumble though Dutt being £500 richer and RDW vs. LWL and that should be heated come January 2008.

Overall Thoughts: Mensa & Maxx’s alliance should be interesting, Ryder vs. Devine was good but both are capable of better. Costello & Paige vs. Caiman & Dutt was a good tag match, best of luck to John Sotello in his battle with Cancer! Sykes vs. Navarro was a fantastic fight! Carnage vs. Lees was good for the time given. Mensa & Maxx vs. Valentino & Vaughn was another good tag and if it is a prelude to an LWL Tag Division I welcome it. Christmas Rumble was chaotic, disjointed at times but LWL vs. RDW should be heated when it kicks off next month. 58 fans is less than last time but not too bad considering the time of year. LWL has really turned itself into a very good promotion who are beginning to make a name from themselves, long may that continue.

Match of the Night: Sykes vs. Kris Navarro 2

December 22, 2007 – TV Results

Corey Maclin is joined again this week by Jimmy Hart for the last live taping until further notice.

Derrick King/Johnny Dotson with Rashard Devon/Mr. White/Sue Young interview. DK promises revenge on Lawler today for Garry White. Lawler comes out with Tatt2 and Grady Watson. Lawler/Tatt2 beat DK/Dotson by DQ. Heat was on Tatt2. Tatt2 did a 619 on Dotson for a double down. Hot tag to Lawler and Dotson to King. Lawler pulls down the strap and everyone bumps. Rashard/White/Young jump in for the DQ. Lawler bumps everyone again and then spanks Young. Good match.

"Opening The Vault" this week featured Austin Idol vs Jim Neidhart. This is the same match from the "Wrestling Gold" series. Randy Hales was doing commentary. Hart was managing Idol here as a babyface. Hart caused a DQ to save Idol from getting pinned. Spoiler was out there also and with Neidhart they were going to beat up Hart. Idol made the save and then Hart/Idol ran them out of the ring. Fun stuff.

Jimmy Hart is alone talking about the old times selling Cokes for Guy Coffee to get in the wrestling business. Brian Christopher comes from the back with Corey Maclin. Brian C says that Maclin has a bad clock. Brian C claims he will beat two men in less than 2 minutes. Brian C beats Crime/Chris Lexx, but in over 2 minutes. Brian missed a legdrop from the top rope and the guys made a comeback. Brian pushed Crime into the turnbuckle and he went headfirst into Lexx's groin. Brian used a chain to pin Crime.

"Too Kool 2" [Tim Grind/Flex] interview. They "freestyle" a Christmas rap. Funny.

TK2 beat Gladiator/Pokerface. Heat on Grind. Hot tag to Flex. They went to do a double team move on Pokerface, but Gladiator pulled him out of the ring. Flex then military pressed Grind over the top rope and he did a dive onto both Poker/Gladiator. Gladiator then got in the ring and Poker went after Grind. Grind sent Poker into the ringpost. Grind/Flex did a double team move [Flex did an elbow followed by a Grind legdrop] to pin Gladiator. Good match.

Koko Ware came out with some of the babyfaces and Tom Nunnery to sing Christmas songs. Derrick King interrupted them. He told Nunnery to give him his guitar and Tom hit him with it. That looked real bad. Koko then got the guitar and gave DK a second shot that was good. They went off the air wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

Next week "Best of 2007" show with Corey and Hart from Corey's house. Last year that show was horrible!!!...They also announced that for the next 2 months they will be doing Classic shows.I forget about this all the time, but Randy Hales was real good on commentary on the old Mid-South Coliseum clips.Crime and Lexx both looked good in their comeback.Second week in a row that TK2 changed stuff up a bit and did not do your typical hot tag match. Good stuff. They had like 3 double downs with the first one just having Poker get a tag and not Grind during the heat. This show was good, but knowing that they are not coming back to live TV until 2008, there were no storylines and such.Maclin says that the shows in starting in January will feature Memphis Wrestling from CW 30.

National Wrestling Superstars

NWS Annual "Holiday Havoc 2007" on the Jersey Shore This Friday & Saturday 12/28-12/29 Featuring The Iron Sheik, The Blue Meanie, The Patriot & More!

The holidays have arrived. Hopefully, you've done all of your planning, all of your shopping, and all of your cooking, cleaning, and other preparations. Did you remember to order the National Wrestling Superstars tickets for this weekend? If your response is a Homer Simpson-style "Doh!" slap to the forehead, then you'd better pick up the phone before it's too late, as tickets are sure to sell out fast for NWS' annual "Holiday Havoc 2007" extravaganzas this Friday & Saturday night December 28th-29th. Looking for something to do between Christmas and New Year... NWS literally has your ticket to a good time.

Friday night December 28th, Holiday Havoc makes its traditional return to Long Branch, NJ's Seashore Broadway Gym, 404 Broadway (minutes from Route 36 and the Parkway) with a 7:45pm bell time. But the biggest name of all in Long Branch will be a former WWE world champion, a hall-of-famer, and lately he's been seen and heard on The Howard Stern Show, the one and only Iron Sheik, who will be at ringside to watch the matches and lend his experience to the new generation of wrestlers in NWS.

NWS has a match for those of you fed up with bad calls and lousy officiating by the referees. If you've always wished the wrestlers could have just one opportunity to get revenge on the referees, then come to Long Branch this Friday and you will get your wish, as there will be a special Wrestlers-Against-Referees Grudge Match, as The Hideous Hillbillies (Cletus & Cooter) will come all the way up north to face off against three of NWS' popular referees in likes of S.P. Anderson, Mike "Quick Count" Dillon, and local wrestling referee Sargeant Jimmy Storm. And while we're on the subject of grudge matches, here's one that could end up trashing the entire building, as former friends, and now bitter enemies, J.C. Rage and Hyena, will continue the war they began last Summer when they meet in a no-holds-barred Long Branch Tables Match. They will be joined by other local mat standouts including one-time NWS Regional Heavyweight Champion T.N.T, up-and-comer Corey Havoc, and local high-flyer Mikey Pacifica.

Tickets for Long Branch are bargain priced for the holidays at only $17 for adults and $15 for kids and seniors, and all seats are ringside.

And on Saturday December 29th, Holiday Havoc heads down the Parkway and over to Seaside Heights, NJ to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish Hall, 100 Grant Avenue (only three blocks from the Route 37 bridge) for not one, but *TWO* huge shows. Even though Seaside Heights is known for being a hotspot in the summer rather than the winter, NWS intends to heat things up there in late December.

The 2:05pm matinee show will feature former WWE & WCW star "America's Hero" The Patriot doing battle in the ring, and a Seaside Heights Tables match featuring one-time ECW brawler The Equalizer taking on the unpredictable Hyena. The Hideous Hillbillies (Cletus & Cooter) will cross the Mason-Dixon line to compete in the NWS ring, along with area big standouts Cameron Shaft, Ryan Blackheart, and Resin. And, they're not brothers, but Corrupted Youth and Wasted Youth definitely have a sibling-type rivalry, and both of them will also be in Seaside Heights that afternoon, so who knows what will happen.

The 7:35pm nighttime show will include an appearance by the unpredicatbly insane yet lovable Slayer, and The World Famous TV Clown. In a replay of the David-vs-Goliath story that only NWS could put together, cruiserweight standout "Stellar" Travis Blake will go one-on-one with an opponent almost double his size, the 400-plus-pound Baghdad Bully Saddam Insane. And whatever is left of The Equalizer and Hyena, and Parish Hall's collection of tables, is bound to be destroyed completely, as they will have another Seaside Heights Tables Match that evening. And the man known as the Delaware loudmouth, J.D. Smoothie, will team up with NWS Jersey Shore Champion Nicky Oceans to cause tag-team trouble for another pair of hapless foes.

Best of all, NWS promises that these tickets will not be another major holiday expense, as all tickets are only $15, but for those who have been doubly nice this year, NWS is offering an even greater bargain on a double ticket for both shows for only $24 (that's only $12 per show).

Tickets for both shows can be ordered by phone by calling NWS at 1-732-888-1704. All major credit cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more. Remaining tickets, if any, will go on sale at the door one hour before bell time.

NEW EPISODE OF PWO TV 12/29: Prohibition vs. Fontaine; Bane vs. N8 Mattson

Pro Wrestling Ohio airs the most action-packed sixty minutes in wrestling each and every week on the official television home of the Cleveland Indians, Sports Time Ohio! Sports Time Ohio is available in over 4 million homes on cable television throughout Ohio and into parts of Western Pennsylvania. Sports Time Ohio is also available NATIONWIDE to satellite dish subscribers of both DirecTV and Dish Network. If you are a dish subscriber and do not have Sports Time Ohio on your line-up and want to be part of the PWO experience, call your satellite provider today and request Sports Time Ohio be added to your line-up, as STO may only be available on select satellite sports packages depending on your location in the United States. For more information on PWO TV's availability, visit

Upcoming airtimes for new episode of PWO TV:

Saturday night, December 29: 12:00 midnight; 1:00 am

Sunday night, December 30: 10:00 pm

Currently scheduled for the broadcast:

Josh Prohibition vs. "Megastar" Marion Fontaine

Josh Prohibition and Johnny Gargano proved to be a very successful duo on our last broadcast of PWO TV, when they used their skill, resourcefulness and a little chicanery to down the team of "M-Dogg 20" Matt Cross and "Fabulous" John McChesney. With no one having heard from either Cross or McChesney since the loss a week ago, one has to wonder if Prohibition & Gargano have successfully eliminated two of their most threatening rivals. This week, Prohibition enters singles competition against one man who's no stranger to threatening rivals, Marion Fontaine. While Fontaine may be undersized and outmatched on the surface, the Megastar has a heart and athletic prowess that more than makes up for any physical shortcomings, as evidenced by Fontaine taking the monstrous Cronus to his absolute limit on our last broadcast. Will Prohibition be able to continue his winning ways or will the tenacity of Fontaine win out? And what about Fontaine's apparent manager. "Macho Grosh"?!?

Jason Bane vs. "Amazing" N8 Mattson

He is already on his way to establishing himself as the most dominant man in the state of Ohio. He's at least 6'7", he's at least 300 lbs. and he is an absolute wrecking machine named Jason Bane. In his PWO debut, Bane quickly disposed of three different men in a gauntlet match, and now has his sights set one-on-one. N8 Mattson is a physically impressive star from the Michigan area, part of the "Michigan Invasion" tag team which stresses anyone from their home state is superior to all others. Will Michigan win out this time or will the huge Jason Bane continue his stretch of domination?

"Bloody" Morty Rackem vs. Virus

Our debut broadcast of PWO TV featured a fast-paced, action-packed, high-flying showcase of two amazing teams: Virus & Virus Grande, collectively known as V-Squared, and "Bloody" Morty Rackem & "Ruthless" Rufio Rapier, collectively known as The Cut Throat Crew. After V-Squared cheated to come out on top, and The CTC retaliated by commandeering V-Squared's car, PWO management wanted to bring you a special return bout this week, but apparently an incident has occurred to prevent that. Rumors state that an altercation occurred between V-Squared and Rufio Rapier in an undisclosed location that left Rufio with career-threatening injuries. Not only that, but sources also indicate that V-Squared made off with the Cut Throat Crew's priceless heirloom swords. How will Morty Rackem react to his fallen partner and will he be able to survive Virus one-on-one and retrieve the prized swords he holds in such high regard?

Tune in the weekend of December 29th for all that and more! Remember, Pro Wrestling Ohio is only available on Sports Time Ohio! If Sports Time Ohio is NOT part of your DirecTV or Dish Network package, no matter where in the U.S. you are, call your satellite provider today and demand STO!

And for those of you who missed last week's broadcast, be on the lookout for a special rebroadcast this weekend! Check local listings or for times!

There will be a special card on December 30, but we don’t have the lineup yet. However, we can report that part of the proceeds from the show will go to Bob Rogers. Rogers has been a longtime fan who has not only attended every SECW show since they began several months ago, but he also was a regular attendee at events promoted by Georgia Championship Wrestling at the Atlanta Municipal Auditorium starting more than fifty years ago. Rogers is currently hospitalized at Crawford Long in Atlanta awaiting a heart bypass procedure as well as surgery on his femur. Physicians are currently having problems regulating his enzymes so that they can perform the procedures. It also appears the show will be the last at the current venue, as a move to the VFW Fairgrounds has been announced beginning January 6.

The Central Florida Fairgrounds Pavilion, 4603 W. Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL

Former 2 time NWA World Heavyweight Champion Ron "The Truth" Killings is set to make his UXW debut on January 26th at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. Outside of wrestling The Truth is an accomplished rapper and breakdancer and has released his own rap albums and you can hear him on his current entrance music in TNA.

The Truth went into wrestling after his music career didn't go exactly where he wanted to and debuted as K-Krush in NWA Wildside, feuding with the likes of AJ Styles. He eventually was signed by the WWF and teamed up with Road Dogg Jesse James. He's a two time WWF Hardcore champion, both times losing the belt to Crash Holly. After the WWF he joined TNA and has had massive success as a singles competitor (twice winning the World Heavyweight Title) and as a tag competitor with fellow 3Live Kru members B.G. James and Konnan. He recently won the TNA World Tag Team belts with controversial NFL figure Pacman Jones.

Already signed for UXW's 15th Anniversary Show is Demolition Ax and Smash vs the Heartbreak Express. One of the greatest tag teams of all time versus one of the best up and coming tag teams of today. Demolition has been studying tapes of the HBX and recently saw their Cage of Pain match against Black Market. Upon viewing that, Demolition Ax said, "If you thought the Heartbreak Express got bloody and brutalized in the Cage of Pain, you haven't seen nothing yet. Demolition is going to show Sean and Phil why we're the UXW Tag Team champions and demolish them from pillar to post."

After being contacted by UXW, Sean Davis responded with the following: "Demolition was a great tag team 20 years ago, but just like many other legendary teams of the 80's and 90's (like The Midnight Express and The Rock N Roll Express who both fell to us) we will show them on January 26 that their time of ruling tag team wrestling has officially ended as the era of The Heartbreak Express has arrived.

As big Demolition fans when we were kids it will almost pain us to have to force Ax and Smash to bleed to death right before our very eyes but that is just part of life. The old get older and the young get stronger. The HBX will continue to reign and Demolition will wrestle no longer."
